J K Pro Condenser Lavalier Lapel Microphone MIC-J 017 Compatible with Sennheiser Wireless Transmitter - Noise Cancelling Mic

I've had several of these mics. They produce a great sound quality and are reliable. Very cost-effective. I use these with Sennheiser G2 and G3 wireless systems. Only downside is sometimes, after awhile ,the cord can become frayed at the mic capsule if handled roughly by the people wearing them. Considering the low cost, it hasn't bothered me too much as they still last plenty long enough. These are my go to mics.

Wasn't sure I should trust this mic b/c of the low price point, but due to COVID, I wanted to have a brand new mic for each speaker/singer. Turns out the JK MIC-J 017 was the way to go. Although it is larger than the Sennheiser ME2, sound quality is good. I plan to continue using this lav on student musicals because I can afford to simply replace them when they break them.

These microphones are very well made and very low noise. Plus the cardioid pattern really helps eliminate a lot of background noises. I record in some fairly noisy environments and so the cardioid pattern is good for eliminating background sounds . However, the one downside is that you have to position the microphone quite carefully. Too close to your chin and the sound doesn't actually reach the microphone, but too far down on your chest and it's too far away to pick up a good signal. But when you get it just right it works really well . I think they also cut out a lot of the ambient noise by filtering the low frequencies, so there is very little bass and low end on this microphone. I have quite a deep voice, so all that remains are the high frequencies that make the sound quite tinny. You can somewhat adjust for it with EQ, but in my case most of the audio has already gone and can't be restored. So yes, this is definitely a quality microphone, but not so great for people with deep voices.

Got a pair of these yesterday and they do not work. Tried them with my Saramonic wireless system and got no signal so I decided to plug it directly into my Sony PXW Z90 just to make sure it wasn't a compatibility issue with the Saramonic and all I'm getting is a loud hum from both mics. You're better off spending a lot more and buying quality mics and this cheap product that does not even work.

This was used as a replacement for the OEM sound system. This microphone out performs the original equipment at a franc ion of the cost. The lapel clip is sturdy, functional and well made. I would definitely recommend this microphone.

Purchased this mic to replace one that I had. Works okay, but I was very disappointed in the sound quality. It sounded like the person speaking was in a tin can. Not a clear quality voice, them again this is a budget priced microphone, so I got what I paid for. This mic is OK for the price, but will return this one and will look for something with a higher sound quality.

Awesome mic. I use it with my tascam dr-05 and it works really well. I first got some cheap few dollar mics and they were very bad. Im no audio professional but to me this offers a very good quality and to get anything noticeably better will probably run you a few hundred more.

It is a solid piece of equipment, sound is decent. But the sensitivity of the mic is not good for a lapel or tie clip on mic. I Did have Some issues of mixing a good sound that doesn't have feedback!

A little bigger than my old miniature tie clip but it's a better mic and I spend less time fighting howl-rounds now and more time listening.

A confronto con il lavalier Sennheiser (parlo della ME 2-II EW-Series e non della MKE 40-EW) non c'è grande differrenza, anzi, considerando invece la grande differenza di prezzo. Ottimo acquisto

Ich nutze das JK® MIC-J 017 zusammen mit dem Stereo Kopfhörer Beyerdynamic DT 990 Edition als Gaming bzw. Allround-Lösung am Computer. Oft wurde ich von meinen vorherigen "Gaming-Headsets" durch nachlassender Sprachqualität oder auch Ausfall des Mirkos enttäuscht, nun habe ich mit dem Kopfhörer-Steckmikro Verbund eine gute Lösung gefunden. Meine Mitspieler verstehen mich einwandfrei und durch die Noise-Canceling Funktion werden Hintergrundgeräusche gedämpft oder nicht einmal übertragen. Was mir am Mirko nicht so gefällt ist die Verbindung zwischen Mikrofon und Clip aus Plasik, welche, wenn man nicht aufpasst, schon mal brechen kann. Zum Vergleich hatte ich das JK® MIC-J 044, welches von der Sprachqualität etwas räumlicher ist und mir die Verbindung zwischen Mikro und Clip solider erscheint. Letztendlich würde ich Käufern deshalb eher dazu raten, das JK® MIC-J 044 zu kaufen.
