Nice bandsaw
I received this bandsaw a couple of months ago now and can i say i really like it. Shipping took a while, and getting it into by shop was somewhat difficult due to weight and my low door way. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the bandsaw i received was updated with no tool guide adjusters and several other features that i had noticed complaints about when researching the saw. The saw is nicely painted, heavy, square and cuts very nice. Set up was not bad, and in a couple of hours from starting i had it up and running and tested it out. I have not cut all that much with it since purchasing, but what i have cut has been great. I really like the tool less adjusters on the blade guides, and they also have dual bearings on all guides. Table is perfectly square and flat and heavy and adjusts easily in different positions. I put the saw on a build it yourself bear crawler from grizzly and it works great as well. I am really glad i bought this saw and not a cheaper one from another company, super stable, pretty quiet and very well made.

Good features at the price point. Quite happy with it.
I'm a hobbyist woodworker and spent several months debating on which bandsaw to buy to compliment the rest of my garage wood shop. Have owned for ~1.5 months now. Went with this one over 4 other saw models (griz/rikon/PM/Shop Fox) for a few reasons: 1. Cast Iron wheels - more momentum = less slowing down on cuts 2. All roller bearing guides - I knew I'd end up getting a Carter bearing system down the road with several other saws I was looking at so this model having this type from the factory saved me that bit of coin. 3. 13" Re-saw capacity. I won't use it all the time but will be nice when I do. Matches my planer capacity. 4. Not giant, but not small in anyway. This saw is in the goldilocks zone for my workshop/needs at the moment. I knew I wanted a floor model saw and not a benchtop but didn't want something like a 17" griz with a bigger footprint and "ominous presence" in my 2car garage shop. Also didn't want something on a skinny legs style stand. 5. Timberwolf blades in 116" sizes of various widths are readily available and are awesome. 6. Price through amazon was good and knew the return would be easy if I wasn't happy. 7. Quick release tensioner lever. As I get more time and projects completed with this tool, I'll try to report back because I know how helpful these reviews can be to people. For right now though? No regrets on this purchase. Have finished a twin bed frame in Ash and am working on some cedar outdoor furniture. BTW!!! - The saw DOES NOT COME WITH A BLADE so make sure you buy one when you get the saw. The Timberwolf blades in 116" are working quite well for me.

Love my new Jet bandsaw
The delivery was on time and I received several notifications regarding the timing. The crew placed it exactly where I asked. The assembly was fairly easy and it was packed well. I was a bit concerned buying a big tool from Amazon but there were no issues and I would do it again. The saw is heavy and you assemble it on its side. I was prepared to ask for help standing it up so as not to bend the platform whitch is stamped steel. I was able to raise the bottom and support it with 6 or 7 2x6s under the cast frame. I then lifted from the top and it stood right up with no assistance. I have just made a few test cuts but the saw is well powered and cuts well. This replaces an old 1hp bandsaw and there is no comparison. If considering a smaller hp model I would recommend you go big.

Easy to set up and a pleasure to use.
It arrived in the morning of the day scheduled, undamaged and the finish was perfect. I only referred to the instructions once to assemble it. I have a winch in my shop so setting the upper unit on the base was easy. I took about ninety minutes from opening the box to turning it on. Another hour to do alignments and it ran smooth and quiet. They were easy to do, I'm fussy on things being exactly right. The only issue I had was when I rewired from 110v to 220v, a simple process since the junction box was well designed and uses screw clamps. The problem was one of the cover screws was directly under the motor and I pinched my self a few times doing a quarter turn at a time with a small channel lock pliers. It took ten minutes to get the box open and about thirty seconds to rewire it. But when I turned it on again it sat there quietly humming.. I cut a six inch thick and eight inch wide block of seasoned oak and it might as well have been a 3/4" peice of pine. I lost my Dewalt in a fire and while I liked that one a lot, this Jet gives me more capabilities. I'm happily impressed. I think it's worth it. I gave four stars to tech support based on other purchases as I didn't need to call them for this one. I'm confident I'll get a lot of use out of it.

The ONLY 5-Star For Under 2,500.00!
Phenomenology Built with solid, double vertical posts. Very easy to set up (need a helper though to bring it from horizontal to vertical position as this monster is HEAVY). 14" resaw ability, powerful motor makes you think that it's connected to 220. Construction is of the highest quality. Easy to tune, roller bearings top and bottom can be adjusted in no time. Changing blades a snap. Although it can only go to a 3/4" blade, I use that to resaw 12" boards (Using a Lil' Timber) and this Jet cut through them like a steak knife through a filet. Highly, highly recommend.

Awesome saw
I bought this saw for re-sawing lumber. So far so good. I’ve run 9 inch wide pecan threw it with no problem at all. I’m using a 4tpi jet blade it’s a little slow going. I have ordered a 4tpi Timberwolf blade all the reviews say it cuts much better so we will see. The saw has plenty of power , blade changes aren’t to bad .The fence is very well made but doesn’t slide very smoothly it sticks a little bit when adjusting it. The table is very heavy and well built. It does not come with a miter gage. My only small complaint is the blade guide adjusters are kind of crude. You loosen a Allen screw and have to move the bearings back and forth with your finger it’s works but for the money you think the could have done better. Bottom line is I highly recommend this saw for resawing lumber.

Jet bandsaw for the win!
My old Craftsman bandsaw “gave up the ghost” after 40 years and decided on a bandsaw capable of resawing as well as accurate bandsaw tasks. Very well built and relatively easy to assemble. Highly recommend!

Quality saw for any workshop!
Extremely well built saw. I’m very pleased with this purchase! Easy to assemble and relatively simple to set up. You will need help putting this together as it is very heavy. Jet makes high quality tools and I will definitely purchase more.
