Fisher-Price Calming Vibes Hedgehog Soother

I bought this as my baby has struggled sleeping due to colic. Their bedside cot doesn't rock which hasn't helped him settling and I found I would constantly be leaning over with my hand on him giving him taps. I looked at adapters that rock/vibrate your cot however the reviews weren't great. And I then saw this. It's a really cute toy in itself. The music is loud although there is a volume switch. I don't use the music side at night as it's not that gentle, would be better if it was softer and faded up and down. However there is a large selection of music and sounds on offer. I use the vibrate only setting and place hedgehog at the foot of the cot. The vibrations are strong and travel through the mattress soothing baby and distracting from his tummy pain. The only downside is the vibrations automatically turn off after a short period of time, and do so suddenly, which in occasion has caught baby by surprise. It would be nicer if the vibrations lasted longer and slowly eased off. However we are using this multiple times a night to settle baby and wouldn't be without it at the moment.

My baby has been having bad colic and I bought this as I seen vibrations help. She really likes it and it feels really soft. She plays with it and it helps sooth her to sleep. She seems to rest well with the vibrations and music. It's a great gift for someone or to help your baby get past colic enough to be relaxed a bit.

Looked for something to just calm and smooth our 3 month old and help her settle, not the prettiest toy in the world but our little one can’t be without it! Cot or pram SPike has to go everywhere 😄 very soft, vibrate is wonderful and she loves it and there is plenty of lovely tunes of different lengths, one that lasts longer than ten minuteswould be great but never the less this soother is a must, glad I listened to the other reviews it works it’s magic 🪄

Bought for my newborn to help with trapped gas after reading a Reddit page. Definitely helps and does provide him comfort - unsure it it actually helps release the gas but it helps him regardless. Only point to note is the batteries it comes with provide a nice subtle vibration which is perfect. Put cheap Asda own brand batteries in to replace them and it was like an earthquake!! Don’t use the music features but there’s various options for long/short songs and volume control. Long press the button to turn it off.

This is amazing. I brought this for my additional needs 5 year old daughter who is massively struggling with sensory issues .. she has not let this go since she has got it.. the vibrations setting throughout the day helps calm her and the musical setting at night helps soothe her. I have struggled for what seems like forever to try find something that could help. This seems to be the perfect choice.. and the school agrees. One of the best purchases I have ever made.

This was a Christmas present for my grandson, and when it arrived I tried it to see if it worked properly, but I couldn’t get it to work properly, so had to go on the internet to find out what I was doing wrong. It turned out that the batteries that were in were only temporary and to get the full functions you had to put new batteries in This should have been displayed on the packaging, I have now added the right batteries to the packaging.

This is amazing an must have little cuddly soft toy. My 1 daughter has a newborn and finds it hard to settle her at times. She's got a swing chair which has a variety of soothing music and swing speeds, it also has a vibrate mode which she loves. Bought her 1 of these to help settle her in the cot and must say it's perfect, works a treat for her. Deffinately recomend to anyone who needs that little help to settle their newborn. You can also change the settings and timer to suit you and your baby. Don't worry if it gets dirty or baby is sick on it, just open the velcro back remove the box/battery holder wash and dry then place the box back inside to use again. Great design, good quality and very soft also speedy delivery

It is nice and soft and easy to hold but the vibrating music which is meant to calm only last for seconds so I don’t think it’s fit for purpose and therefore wouldn’t recommend it sorry.

L'ho comprato per la mia bimba quando aveva 3 mesi e soffriva di colichette. La vibrazione l'ha aiutata molto. Ora ha 8 mesi e le piace molto azionarlo, sentire che vibra ma soprattutto ascoltare la musica. Bellissima selezione. Il materiale è ottimo e piacevole al tatto. La cassa è estraibile e ci sono diverse impostazioni: solo musica, solo vibrazione, entrambe. Si regola anche il volume.

Vraiment super ! Mon bébé de 4 mois a littéralement adoré ! J'avais remarqué qu'il aimait les vibration et ce hérisson est le seul jouet que j'ai trouvé qui vibre aussi longtemps seul (5 min). Les musiques choisies sont très belles, la peluche est très douce. Je suis vraiment ravie !

Wir wollten den Igel eigentlich zu Ostern unseren Sohn schenken. Er ist erst 7 Monate aber irgendwie fanden wir den Gedanken nett eine Kleinigkeit zu "verstecken". Da ich ihn natürlich vorher testen musste (war so neugierig), kann ich schon das erste Urteil abgeben : Pro: *Melodien klingen toll, kein nerviges klingeling *Melodien schöner Mix aus Klassik und Schlaflieder *der Igel sieht niedlich aus *einfache, selbsterklärende Bedienung *mein Sohn ist tatsächlich jedes Mal mega entspannt eingeschlafen bzw hat weiter geschlafen als ich den Igel erneut aktiviert habe... IT'S MAGIC contra : *man kann den Igel nur am "Innenleben" ausschalten *fuselt tatsächlich etwas *vibration is etwas zu stark Aber da mein Sohn so toll einschläft, bin ich schon begeistert und würde ihn weiter empfehlen. NACHTRAG : Ich muss gestehen, die Igelliebe ist noch größer, nachdem ich rausgefunden habe, dass man lange auf den Bauch drücken muss um den Igel zu deaktivieren. Mein Sohn schläft in der 10 minütigen Spielzeit ein 😍. Und der Igel fuselt nicht mehr. Deswegen ein Upgrade auf 5*

Que bonitoooo! Buen tamaño para la cuna y el capazo y el maxi cosy de bébé de dos meses. Muy fácil de arreglar sonido y dura 10 min que es genial! Le gustó al peque de 4,5 años! Se le he comprado uno tb! Una gran ayuda para el para relajar dame en la cama y dormirse con el erizo en brazos! Es súper chulo y si lo recomiendo tb por su música bonita bien seleccionada. Lo uso también cuando tengo el bebé sobre el cojín de lactancia que vibra al mismo tiempo y le relaja. Es carro pero vale la pena! Un gran relajo para un peque tan de 0 meses que de 4 años sin duda!
