Good educational tool
These function as expected. They are clearly labeled with fractions, decimals, and percents. The sizing clearly represents equivalent fractions. Good manipulative tool. Stack easily and help make concepts more visual and fun for kids. As with most educational products the value is a bit overpriced for the plastic product that it is but it’s in line with other similar products . The packaging is also nice as it serves as storage case as well.

Just buy 2
These are a must have for your math box, I highly recommend buying 2 for fraction comparing! They're pricey but kids need towers to put fractions side by side for comparison. I love the colors, brightness, durability and they're not hard to fit or stack.

Expert Tutor-Approved!
These are an essential learning tool for any 4th or 5th grader, and for some 3rd and 6th graders, too. I have been an educator my whole career, and I specialize in preparing children for the ISEE/SSAT and/or other standardized exams at this level. I also work with children to support their regular academic work, whether it's common core or a different curriculum. Any 4th or 5th grader is working with fractions and decimals, and these are perfect for helping them make real sense of the concepts. I often start by handing a student the 1/2 cube, and then asking the student to find me as many other examples of fractions that are equivalent. The student will line up the various pieces and show me 2/4, 3/6, 4/8, 5/10, and 6/12. Then we will talk about what it might be if we had fraction cubes of 14ths or 20ths to show that any fraction equivalent to 1/2 has the relationship of the numerator being half the denominator. When adding and subtracting mixed numbers, and when converting mixed numbers and improper fractions, it's really helpful to have 2 sets of these, so you can show numbers that go above 1. Kids like handling the cubes, as they are colorful and interlocking, and even when they are just "playing" with them, they are likely still learning. A thorough understanding of fractions and decimals is so critical to learning percentages and other harder concepts in 6th grade, and these cubes are perfect for securing these foundational topics.

These visuals have been extremely useful for my children
I bought these anticipating that my fourth grader would be learning fractions soon. These visuals have been extremely useful for my children, who learn best with hands on and visual teaching. It's so much easier to show that 1/5 is greater than 1/6 when they can see and compare it for themselves. My second grader and preschooler love playing with these as well. They are sturdy and made of thick plastic. The connections aren't fitting as tightly after a couple of months of use, but that is to be expected with continued use. I wish this came with a case or box to store the cubes in long term. The plastic clamshell these shipped in won't work for long term storage.

Best Fraction Manipulative
This manipulative is excellent for the classroom and homeschooling environment. It supports student learning for those that need a visual or that are kinesthetic learners. It's easy to use and can be cleaned. I would recommend this for all students that find Fractions challenging.

Great Learning Tool, & They don't know they are learning!! score!
I bought these last yr for my Kindergarten curriculum to help with wholes, halves & quarters, and we have actually used them in money too, to explain in a different visual way, how 4 quarters equal a dollar, etc etc... I figured Id save the "rest" for 1st grade, What i didn't expect was how much my 6 year old loved them, he asked lots of questions, wanted to "build" each equal set. and went "farther" with learning with them, because they are "Building toys" in his mind, than I expected. My almost 4yr old loved them too, and now at just turning 4 she has surprised us with whole & half questions on things from "playing" with them with her brother, they are an excellent quality product, well made, well printed, easy to read & were easy for little 3 hands to get apart & together, BEST part has to be how much they have learned & will learn from them & How much we have been able to use them for all kinds of "reinforcement lessons"

Great for fractions
My daughters use these and love them. They are great for learning how to add fractions along with comparing fractions for equal/greater than/less than. I also love there are percentages and decimals on the other sides for when we get to that point in our math curriculum.

great for math and corresponds with other product
We are a homeschooling family that likes to take a hands on approach as often as possible. I bought these because my 1st grader is just starting to work with fractions. When she had them out working with them yesterday, my high schooler wanted to play with them also. They do exactly what you would expect them to do. They are small/hand size. If you were in a classroom setting they would be great for individual students to use at their desk. One thing that really impressed me is that the colors of the bars match up to the colors of the same fractions of this circle fraction set Learning Resources - Rainbow Fraction Deluxe Circles, Math Manipulatives, For Grades 1 and Up which we purchased at the same time. The whole 1 on both is red, 1/2 is pink, 1/3 is orange and so on. This made it very easy to talk about and match up fractions for 1st grader. There are to many fractions for this to be an accident. I'm really glad I purchased them together. We will be using this math tool and it's corresponding circle set for many years to come. Another reviewer said their set didn't include the decimals or percents. Mine does, maybe they just got a set that didn't make it all the way through the print cycle.
