This drink is a good replacement for the old Kayo. Tastey and formulated for diabetics and used as a breakfast substitute. It's expensive at $45/case of 24. We've been using this for years, other brands don't taste as good, and many are chalky in texture. Glucerna is our go-to shake.

My mom loves these in the Rich chocolate flavor. She is diabetic and also just doesn’t digest food well so this is a great treat for her and adds a lot of nutritional benefits.

I actually love theses drinks there’s no after taste like boost insurer’s. After this last 11 days hospital stay I lost a lot of weight couldn’t eat but could get down a boost drink hated the after taste. But family bought me theses less sugar chocolate I drink 2-3 a day and gaining weight eating better now. I’d recommend exspecially if your diabetic less sugar 4-7 grams sugar only .

I've been diagnosed as being borderline diabetic, but even if I wasn't, I consume way too much sugar and calories! This has been an excellent weight loss tool for me over the past few years. I lost over 100 pounds in approximately a years time, and I am not giving all of the glory to my friend Glucerna, but what I will say, with me having a very sedentary lifestyle it has been nothing but a huge help. What I did to lose the weight was count my calories (thank you also, myfitnesspal, you rock!) and of course exercising is very beneficial health wise, and I try to do what I can, but I'm not the most consistent yet, shall we say. Anyway I have a desk job, and my hobbies usually involve sitting on my rump, so I don't *need* a lot of calories. With Glucerna, I have one bottle while I'm at work. Yes the full 8 hour shift or more, just one bottle, and I may drink coffee or water throughout the day, and some days I may mix it up and eat out or what not, but majority of the time, I eat breakfast (small and predictable usually oatmeal and coffee or juice), go to work and drink water and my one Glucerna (which I don't know if I trained myself to become used to it, or it really is filling enough, but I usually make it throughout the day without being hungry, or I may become a little/somewhat hungry at the end of my shift) and when I come home I eat pretty much whatever I want, I just moderate the portion size. Yes I know that may not be optimal, and there are things I could do better, but for me I'm a bit lazy when it comes to meal prep and all of that, so this has been an affordable, easy, and effective option for me! I really did lose 100 lbs, and I'm not sure if I could say I did it without using Glucerna, because I had tried eating low calorie lunches, like fruit or a salad or what not, but it was never filling enough for me to get through the day and I would end up also feeling miserable. This sates my hunger between breakfast and dinner, I'm guessing must be somewhat healthy with all the vitamins and such, and keeps me feeling great. Also I am lactose intolerant, and this has never caused any stomach issues for me either. I hope this helps anyone who may be considering this product for weight loss or for meal replacements =)

This is the best tasting flavor of all the diabetic-friendly shakes I have tried, and I have tried a LOT of them. Vanilla and strawberry are just OK, but this chocolate one is ON POINT. Very smooth and chocolatey without that fake flavor taste. I'm not much of a breakfast person, which isn't a good thing when you're a diabetic and need to eat breakfast, and this is a perfect and easy way to start the day.
