Nice looking clock, but not getting signal at our chosen location
I do like this clock and it replaced a similar 15 year old version. My only gripe is that being only 6 feet from the western exterior wall of my house, it can't detect the radio signal. If I move it to the window, it gets the signal. Move it back to its place on the interior wall, I lose the signal. It keeps perfect time nonetheless, just a little disappointing when the one it replaced grabbed the same signal from the exact same nail hole on the wall. This was a one-for-one swap for us. The older version was losing its LCD (?) digits. So this was a necessary change. Anyway, wonderful clock and looks great. The black trim is very sharp. I measure it as a 10.5 inch square, with rounded corners.December 7, 2018 Edit: As suggested in my comment, I put in Lithium batteries about 2 months ago when I had some in the house. Still in the same place on the wall as this spring, since then the clock does grab the radio signal for the self-setting time. Great advice!October 6, 2019 Edit: I switched out to the Lithium batteries almost one year ago and those same batteries continue to power this clock. If you are having issues with the clock receiving the signal, switch to Lithium. Even this early morning I see my clock still connected with the antenna icon showing. I should have done this before, but I am adding 1 star to my review and making it be a 5 star review. This clock is great... with the right batteries in it!

Nice large numbers, easy to set up
We bought this La Crosse clock about a month ago to replace a La Crosse weather station that had lasted for about 10 years, but whose external sensor was no longer working. So far it's worked perfectly. It's important to read the instructions carefully as you do need to insert the batteries in the proper order. Our clock is hung on a kitchen wall. The sensor is close by outside on the porch, mounted on the inside upper wall of the porch, out of sunlight and weather. The clock picked up the atomic time within an hour or so of having batteries inserted, but it can take up to 24 hours. The display is very large and easy to see from at least 20 feet away in the dining room. It's a wonderful tool to have on hand especially on school mornings - never miss the bus again as this clock is never fast or slow! Plus you can quickly decide whether the kids need a sweater or jacket based on the outdoor temperature.

Worth the money despite some inconveniences.
My previous apartment had one of these, and I liked it, so when I moved, I ordered one for my new place. It's clearly visible time and temp were nice, but be aware of a couple things. 1. There is no year display. You have to set the year, but it does not display on the clock face - I suspect it is simply to coordinate the day of the month with the day of the week, depending on what year it is. 2. you have to get pretty close to the clock to read the month/day if you have old eyes or any vision problems. 3. Setting the clock is pain in the - well you get the picture. It is one of those digital devices where the same set and adjust buttons get used again and again in a sequence to set anything. That means you have to cycle through the entire list of things to adjust to reach the one your looking for. The chances of missing it are good, the chances of changing something you don't want to change are good, and the buttons only register your changes half the time. As a result, you constantly have to check to be sure that what you just tried to change actually did change, and that when you've "confirmed the change" the bloody thing actually did confirm the change and moved on to the next item. As I said, a pain in the butt exacerbated by the fact that the "change" buttons don't always register your pushing them. All that said, it does talk to the satellite nicely and adjust itself, and the remote sensor for outdoor temp seems to reach it nicely through two walls at a distance of 40 feet. Do remember when you are mounting the outdoor sensor that you're going to have to reach it again every so often to change the two AA batteries that it requires. Also remember that like most things that require mounting these days, there are two phillips head screws included, both of which have a small head and will strip at the drop of a hat (or the turn of a screw driver). The unit has a base that gets screwed in place but also has plastic spring clips that hold the sensor so you can remove it, replace the batteries, and replace it without unscrewing the unit. We have regular subzero weather here, and I'm not anxious to see just how flexible those two plastic clips will be in mid winter. All in all, though, I found the convenience of self setting and accurate time, clearly visible numbers, and both the indoor and outdoor temps to be worth the aggravation of setting it. DO NOT LOOSE THE DIRECTIONS for setting it. It's bad enough as is; I don't want to think about trying to figure out the sequence without the directions. I rolled mine into a small scroll and placed them above and behind the clock where it protrudes from the wall.

Works perfectly, easy to set up and is even kinda fun
I had a previous model of the Atomic Clock for nearly 15 years before it began to get intermittently glitchy. This new unit is easier to set up than the old one because the settings buttons are on the front instead of the back. Plus, this new one has a beefier antenna and is able to pick up the national time system signal in my poor-reception location, which the old one could not. The time, date and indoor and outdoor temperature displays are easy to read from across the room. Moon phases and outdoor temperatures appear to be accurate. This is a well-made product and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Very Handy Clock
This is the third La Crosse Atomic clock that I have purchased in ten years. The clock works on just fine but eventually the outside sensor quits working and I really like having that information, so I keep buying a new clock. My last one was going through batteries about every ten days and so I knew it was time to get a new one. It came today and it is easy to set up, especially since I am very familiar with the clock. It immediately picked up the atomic signal and is transmitting the outdoor temp. This is a very good clock and I will continue to purchase them as needed. I use the old one in a bedroom and you get everything but the outdoor temp but you can tell the temp in the room that you have it. It is also nice to have a clock that you don't have to reset when DST goes on and off during the year.

Easy read clock
This replaced an old atomic clock that quit working, but has more options. Set-up was easy except for daylight saving time until I realized I had entered the wrong time zone number. Has worked as described. This may be a little overpriced considering the length of time it has been on the market but hopefully will last as long as the one it replaced.

Shipping to Canada works
Its a good item for the wall, indicating inside and outside temps very accurately, excellent as we can change it from F to C as we live in Canada.

Excelente compra

Easy to read.
It works perfect for where we have it. The numbers are nice and big for everyone to be able to read.
