⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely brilliant product — I wish I’d bought one sooner! The TubShroom Bathtub Hair Catcher is perfect for our bathroom and fits exactly as described. With my wife and two daughters all having long hair, we were constantly dealing with slow drains and blockages. Since fitting this, we’ve not had a single issue! It catches even the tiniest strands of hair before they go down the drain, and it’s amazing how much it collects without affecting the water flow. At first, I thought it seemed a little expensive for what it was, but honestly, after using it for a few weeks, it’s worth every penny. The build quality is excellent — sturdy stainless steel with a soft silicone edge that fits perfectly and doesn’t slip. It’s also really easy to remove, clean, and pop back in place. It’s such a simple idea but incredibly effective. No more blocked drains, standing water, or the hassle of pulling out tangled hair from the plughole. It keeps the bathroom cleaner and saves so much time and effort. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone with long-haired family members — a small product that makes a huge difference!

Just make sure it does indeed fit your bath first. It fits my bath but not a shower in another room, and it is meant for "tubs" so potentially that's my issue It works great in the bath. Crucially, it traps long hair which means you don't have it clogging up your pipes. That's the big selling point of this

My old push down plug broke leaving an empty plug hole so I brought this, it's amazing! Catches all the hair and even if it's blocked the holes in the top still let water through

My shower does not have a standard uk plug (plug and chain style) so I have found the Tubshroom to be absolutely brilliant. Easy to put in place and had no need for the extra fittings either. The Tubshroom catches more hair than any other hair catcher I’ve ever used (and I’m pretty sure I’ve tried most of them in my attempt to save the drains from my tresses). It’s reasonably easy to clean, and I much prefer that it isn’t plastic, so hasn’t become mouldy over time. There’s been no pooling of water, no need for extra strength drain unblocker and it’s pretty unobtrusive too. Money well spent. 5* from me, but I don’t recommend if you have a standard uk plug in place as I don’t think it would fit.

I bought this after reading a review that raved about it. The package and advert says that it fits all standard drains and it has an adaptor should you have a drain that is slightly smaller or wider. Well it doesn't fit all standard sinks! The Tubshrum stick out of the plug hole by over 1.5 inches because our drains come with a built in mesh that prevents the Tub Shroom from being inserted down into the pipe. This product assumes you have nothing but a big empty pipe at the bottom of the bath / sink. The universal plug isn't universal at all. Again it assume there is nothing but a big empty pipe in the sink. We have a mesh / sieve built into the plug which can't be removed. So all-in-all it's been a total waste of money. Plus it can't be returned, despite being unused, because it has the type of packaging that has to be ripped to open it.

Bought the dual pack with the universal stopper too. I have 6 plug holes in my house and the stopper works in none of them! On reflection I should have just bought the hair stopper, it still doesn't really fit but the extra grips in the pack help steady it. Have a look at the reviews with pics and decide if it'll work for yours, I think it's designed for American homes primarily hence the universal wording.

The amount of hair this little thing has trapped is insane. Just goes to show how ineffective the starfish shaped silicon pad we had before was. Once it’s full of hair the water doesn’t drain very well but it takes seconds to clean it so this doesn’t bother me as I use it as an indication that it needs cleaning Much quicker and cheaper in the long run than pouring a bottle of acid down the drain One concern I had before buying is that the domed shape may hurt if stepped on but we’ve not stepped on it once

If there is ever a product that I will always recommend, this is it! It catches all of the hair and it is really easy to clear that trapped hair. I also use the plug part when I run bathwater. It seems to seal well in my tub. It is really well made. You should seriously buy this!

Love this product - it works great. I had a lot of trouble with the store though - they sent out the wrong product and then completely ignored the requests I made for rectifying the situation, which was annoying. Ultimately I ended up with the product, but it took a lot of back and forth.

I have a lot of very long hair. Which is ironic because once the hair comes out of my hair it is absolutely disgusting to me, like, setting off my gag reflex level of disgusting. (I know, I know. But I never claimed to not be weird). As anyone with a lot of long hair knows, you shed like crazy and can lose a lot of it while showering and it can lead to drain clogs. Enter the tubshroom. I knew of its existence for many years, but never took the plunge of buying it. This changed when I got my own place and would thus, be responsible for cleaning out my drains. I’ll be honest, I do my best to catch the majority of my loose hair before it gets washed down, but for the stuff I don’t / can’t, the tubshroom works AMAZINGLY. It fits perfectly in my drain and catches all the loose hairs. I do find it’s a little challenging to clean, but this is not something that I would knock a star off for. I also like the stainless steel model because it looks like it’s just part of the tub. The included drain plug is about a 3.5-4 out of 5. Better than those beige rubber stoppers which I can’t pull out due to my short nails. It stops the water from draining but doesn’t have the best seal. Works for me, but may not work as well for others. Overall, recommend this product.
