I purchased this flower wall art to paint and decoupage, inspired by MacKenzie-Childs' floral wall pieces but put my own twist on it (and save a bunch of money). I think this one will work out perfectly. My only complaint is the rope accent on the center of the flower is not applied very carefully, it's quite crooked which made the center of the flower look off-center and wonky. But I removed the rope and will either paint the center piece or cover it with fabric. Then I discovered the center piece unscrews from the post that holds the petal layers together. Being able to take the layers apart will make them much easier to paint and decoupage :) I'm happy 😀Additional review: here is a photo of the finished project - I think It turned out really pretty! Only two drawbacks with this particular item: the back "frame" arrived bent which I didn't notice until after I had taken it apart and painted the two top layers. Luckily, it doesn't affect the overall appearance and you cannot see it from the front. Secondly, the center of the flower is not a perfect circle, it's a little off kilter and the surface has a couple of dents in it. The dents didn't really show until I painted it a lighter color (it was dark brown). No wonder they covered it with rope! I covered it with fabric and am very happy with the overall look 😍

So this is a nice decor piece…..other than one “defect”. It’s not even really a defect…..because it looks just like it does on the site. I didn’t notice before I ordered it, but sure did notice when I received it. See the red circle in the photo I attached. There are 7 gold petals, but then 8 little things over the petals. So one little thing doesn’t line up with anything. Lol. I’m gonna just cut the 8th one off.

I got the 1 galvanized steel flower. It came a little early, a bonus for me. It was nice and flat and came undamaged in the bag. Everything that i get new for my home i have to decorate to make it my own somehow. For this piece, on the smaller inner flower petals only, instead of keeping the petals gold, i sponged on some copper paint & glued a nice ocean blue bead in the center & waited until all was all dry. I carefully bent the whole flower up into 3D how it's meant to look. Now it's "just where it belongs..." (i wish i knew how to take a picture to put up and show you but since i'm a little computer illiterate i guess you'll just have to imagine) Good Luck & take care in this crazy world we live in...

I needed a wall hanging for a small space above a little oven, that wouldn’t be damaged by heat. This flower is perfect. I love it!

So small I was really disappointed
