I Spy Little Wheels: A Book of Picture Riddles

This is one of my 3 year old boy's favorite books! He especially loves the page with all the tracks and the cars. He can stare at that page for several minutes. He will also carry the book around with him and show people "See the tracks!" And he tells me on a regular basis "I want to bring the tracks to MY house!" We love all the "I Spy" series, and have several of these books. But this book was of particular interest to my son. Funnily enough, we only play the I Spy game itself every once in awhile, but when we do, he is usually interested in playing...but we have to make it last longer than the book does. The book only has you find about 2 items per page. In this way, I think the book may be designed for kids slightly younger than my 3 year old. Nevertheless, he loves the cool pictures, and wants to keep all the cool toys.

The "I Spy" books are great for children. Seven years ago a good friend gave my one year old granddaugher an "I Spy" book. She loved it and especially liked finding things on the pages before Mommy and Daddy or her grandparents did. I have been buying these books ever since for all of my grandchildren and they are always a big hit. This particular one "Little Wheels" is more of a simple one for younger toddlers. They have some others that are wonderful for older children that are more involved. These books help children to start to identify objects that they might not be otherwise subjected to until later in their childhood. I highly recommend them for any child, any age.

I spy books never disappoint. They have colorful pictures and simple text that is great for infants and toddlers to enjoy with a parent. Their are also excellent for beginning readers because the picture clues are right there to help new readers decipher the text. My son loved his "I spy" books in his preschool years, and I love passing on the tradition by gifting them to friends and family.

Hard board pages are nice for 2 year old and he loves finding the hidden pictures for me. Seemed to be hidden right for this age to find. I also bought the I Spy a Balloon but that was paper pages and some pictures were much darker. Also more challenging for him to find some items as you go through that book. Another year for the balloon I spy. The wheels fits a 2 year old nicely.

Bought this for my 2-year-old. We look for the items the book suggests we find and then we just look for other things in the pictures. He has a language delay so this is a GREAT book for practicing words and connecting words and pictures/objects. And of course, it is all about cars, plains, bikes, etc. which are his favorite things!

I got this for my 2 & 3/4 year old daughter and three other I Spy Little Books. She does not need board books now, but she likes to "read" them to her almost 1 year old brother. She will just leave them on the floor when she is done so they needed to be strong enough for him to chew on and whatever else he tries to do to the books. There is nothing cuter seeing my daughter get a book and make a story from the pictures for her brother. The pictures are simple enough for her to find any of the items listed and any other items we may ask her to find.

Great book for a toddler. Easy for the little ones to locate the pictures; there are some pages that are a bit of a challenge, but great to get their minds working! Small book that can fit in your purse.

While my 18 month old does not find the pictures himself yet, you can see his little brain working when I point to the pictures on one page and then find them on the other. Cute simple rhymes too and he loves anything with wheels so it's great!

We had to replace our original second hand copy because it was so well loved and used by our 2 year old. There are lots of little objects for him to look at and it is a great tool for teaching new words as he points at the different things on the page. We have most of the series and it is money well spent for the amount of enjoyment and the fact he always returns to these books and never seems bored of them.
