I’ve tried a lot of different taco seasonings over the years, and I keep coming back to McCormick Original Taco Seasoning Mix. It’s just consistently the best in my opinion. The flavor is well-balanced and reliable every time—not too salty, not too spicy, and it gives that classic taco taste that everyone expects. Whether I’m making ground beef, turkey, or even chicken tacos, it always turns out great. I’ve experimented with other brands and even homemade blends, but nothing quite matches the consistency and flavor profile of this one. It just works. The larger 24 oz size is also a nice value if you make tacos regularly like I do. Overall, if you want a go-to taco seasoning that delivers every time, this is it. Simple, dependable, and always tastes great.

Taco night is a weekly tradition in our house, so I finally added this to my subscription list. It is high Quality and has that classic flavor everyone loves. It’s a much better Value than buying individual packets at the store, and now I never have to worry about running out mid-prep. A pantry essential!

Great flavor.

We love this taco seasoning to mix in with our ground meat (beef, chicken or turkey). It tastes great, very flavorful, and not too salty. If I let it simmer a bit longer than suggested, my family thinks I've been cooking on the stove for hours. I like having the big container instead of the individual packets that are sold at the grocery store. Will continue to buy as long as it is available.

Purchased this seasoning as I was sick of the Aussie ones, none tasted as good as how I remembered when I was a kid. I thought this American one would be amazing but it’s tastes just like any Aussie brand which makes me think it’s my tastebuds that have changed, not the seasoning lol

Die kleinen Päckchen von der bekannten Marke aus dem Supermarkt kosten pro Portion fast so viel wie diese ganze Dose hier. Für umgerechnet ein paar Euro bekommt man 680 Gramm, das reicht bei uns für ein halbes Jahr Taco-Nacht. Früher gab es das Gewürz nur in kleinen Tüten für eine Mahlzeit, jetzt hat man einen ordentlichen Vorrat im Schrank. Ich nehme zwei gehäufte Esslöffel auf ein Pfund Hackfleisch, gebe eine halbe Tasse Wasser dazu und lasse es kurz köcheln, fertig. Der Geschmack ist kräftig, nicht zu scharf, und auf der Dose steht ohne MSG und ohne künstliche Aromen, das beruhigt mich. Meine Frau macht damit auch Hähnchenstreifen, die schmecken ihr gut. Einziger Haken ist der Plastikdeckel, der schließt nicht richtig dicht. Nach ein paar Monaten ist das Pulver unten etwas klumpig geworden, weil wohl Feuchtigkeit reingekommen ist. Das ist ärgerlich, aber mit einer Wäscheklammer am Beutel oder einem Gummiband um die Dose lässt sich das beheben. Schwer wiegt das nicht, für den Preis kann man nicht meckern. Insgesamt vier Sterne, weil Preis und Menge stimmen, aber die Verpackung einen Punkt kostet.
