Such a nice range finder. Easy to use. I go to long distance precision ranges up to a mile away and this helps to identify target distances so I know how to adjust my scope for various target distances. Glass quality is top tier and magnifies perfectly for distances at least up to a mile away

Is a little trick to use at first, and the clastic calc is pretty close. For the 308 it was spot on out to 600 yards. But for my 300prc I have doped out to 1k and when I tried doing the true value correction it is off. So I can either be true up to 600 yards or be true from 700 to 1000. But love the fact it ranges far, it is super clear, and can range something and it’ll show you on the map where your ranging. So if you shoot an animal you can bring up on your phone where you ranged and kinda takes the guess work out of where you shot it at. Only thing I’d like to change is if it had an option to where I can manually put in my own data for each yardage

Excellent rangefinder for long range (up to a mile) shooters. It provides declination angle from shooter to the taeget. Very accurate rangefinder at a great price point. Recommend using a bipod when ramging past 1000 yards.

I've only had it for a few hours but I am surprised by how well this LRF performs. I was able to range the small shed in the pictures fairly consistently in normal mode while just leaning up against a fence. This thing has the same great quality that comes with most Vortex products! Optic is really nice (much clearer than what the pictures show), the shape of it fits in my hand great making it easier to hold stable, the extra modes are awesome in certain situations, the case that comes with it is genius. The only drawback I can find is the display is just okay. I also got a Leica 2400 and the display is the only category that the Vortex might have lost in when comparing the two side by side.

This is a great item. The opics are clear, it is easy to use, and the measurements are fairly reproducible. I've never owned a range finder before so I opted for a more expensive one rather than maybe be disappointed. So it is possible that a cheaper one might be as good but I don't know. I feel I paid for a high quality product and I received a high quality product.

Received the product today and start testing it immediately. i was able to range a building 2176m away with sun in full blast. range aquisition is fast and operation is extremely straight forward. shiping was fast as well. Thanks Vortex for this great product
