I was quite skeptical of this item when it arrived. It was much smaller than I expected. However, it exceeded my expectations on the first camping weekend that we used it. It definitely caught and quietly zapped a lot of bugs. I'm impressed. While the bug zapper light is not very bright and not likely to compete with other sources of lighting, if you use it in an area of darkness it will work very well. I am also very impressed with the battery life. I tested it at home and was able to leave the bug zapper on for at least 24 hours. The flashlight and lantern portion make a nice bonus feature. Note that it is not effective against mosquitoes. But it works well against most smaller light-attracted bugs. I recommend it if you are camping in a tent and/or want something to use near a fire on a dark night. If you are in an RV and have your porch light on, you might want to consider a full size unit.

Great brightness for its size. I'm not gonna lie I laughed at how small it is when I got it but it does the trick. Used it for about 2 hours around the fire in Northern Michigan. The mosquitoes, flies, gnats are pretty abundant now with warm nights and periodic rain storms for hatching grounds. So it killed about 50 mosquitoes in that time , while set about 10 feet from the fire. I don't think the 3 of us got bit by bugs because this was near us and attracted them enough to make it worth having around. I have not tested it more than this so I can speak on its longevity of charge but it performed well and I'm excited to take a light weight compact lantern camping in a few weeks

Fast delivery! Small, lightweight with a beautiful, aesthetic design. I've only used it indoors for now in the bedroom not on a camping trip or outdoors. Since I started using it, I do sleep better and don't have a dread of being bitten by mosquitoes anymore. I no longer hear the buzz of mosquitoes neither do I think I have been bitten. However of the 4 that I bought that are in use throughout my home, only one mosquito seems to have been trapped and electrocuted by one of them. The jury is still out for me with respect to this product. I'll post an update after a longer period of use (about 3 weeks presently). It only came with the advertised accessories and I had to purchase separately a 1A output charger for each. A full charge pretty much can give you 2 days worth of mosquito electric grid function, at 6 hours use per night, though with increasing dimming of the blue UV light, so I decided to charge it daily after each 6 hours use to rest assured that its effectiveness isn't compromised. The camping light functions, functions to all intents and purposes as advertised. Great product with innovative design! UPDATE 8th APRIL 2020 (3 MONTHS PLUS OF TRIAL USE) Very disappointed with this product! Either the mosquitoes have learnt to avoid it's attractive blue light or it was never meant to be a mosquito killer in the first place! As far as I'm concerned, it serves only as a blue night light or a camping/emergency light! IT DOESN'T KILL MOSQUITOES!!! I learnt the most painful financial way, having bought a set of 8 for my personal household use in my duplex... Don't waste your hard earned money! SORELY DISAPPOINTED !!!

Excellent device so that mosquitoes no longer bother inside the house and also outside. Very effective in this fight. Easy to carry, easy to charge your battery. I bought this for my older sister to give it as a birthday present. She already saw mine and asked me for one just like it. The lighting on it is also very nice.

UPDATE 04/06/2020: The 2nd one is now dead as well. Same behavior as described below for the first. I did contact the seller via email and got a reply asking for more information but nothing after that. So I’m out $23 bucks I guess. :-( I bought 2 of these on 9/17/2019 and they worked great. But in the middle of December one of them stopped working. The charge light still comes on but neither the lantern light or the bug light will turn on. It was never mishandled or even used outside. We also never used water to clean it. It is now 1/9/2020 and the other one is still working fine.

It is a great purchase. I originaly got it for a camping trip but i used it for other purposes too. Some how i had fruit flys in my home and i put the lights on before i went to bed in the morning almost all the flys wore dead all around and on the bug zapper of the light. Now i take the lights almost every were we go. Hotels, cabins, ets. i set the lights around my kids beds and i have not had them complayn there are mosquitoes or bugs any more. The battery charge is great. With the light and the bug zapper on max the battey charge lasts about 7 hours. Wich is perfect as it charges in about 2 hours. Just love those lights.

Nice size, long battery, nice light and hanging hook. I bought one to keep with me sitting around camp and one for the tent.....I left the tent one turned on from mid-afternoon to when I went to bed, thinking it would kill all mosquitoes before I went to bed....It attracted bugs so well, they found the weaknesses in the tent construction and made it to the light...but it didn't kill any. I ran them for two nights and it attracted every kind of flying jerk on the planet, but I only found one confirmed kill.

So far the nightly results have been very impressive. Every morning the unit is covered in zapped bugs. The plug covering the charge port is deep and solid so cleaning up with water is a big advantage. Didn't purchase for the flashlight feature, but it's also very good a far as brightness and use. Purchased a similar product last year and doesn't even compare to the results these new units produce, also you can't cleanup with water. Also purchased solar charged zapper units from big name warehouse store this year, costing twice the price, and the solar units have not been producing any results. The solar units look neat, like a type of tiki torch, but waste of money. These new zappers seem to be a game changer and hopefully they last a while.
