Duncan Hines is the best cake mix.
I have been a fan of Duncan Hines since I was a child. This was my first time trying out the easy cake kit that you can bake your mini cake in your microwave. I was definitely impressed since it tastes just as it good as it was baked in the oven.

Delicious! But other ingredients needed.
I was expecting something like the brownie kit I bought before that just uses water with the mix. This one asks for other ingredients (I think eggs and oil?) also, it says to mix in a separate bowl and then pour into pan. Not as convenient as I wanted. However, it works great if you just put the powdered mix in the pan and slowly pour and stir some soda. Do not use diet soda. Use just enough to make a moist batter and stir slow but well. Microwave and you have delicious cake! Put the included frosting on and it's even better. Can squeeze the frosting right into your mouth too. Delicious. Would get 5 stars if it didn't need anything but water. Hotel rooms generally have water and microwaves but not eggs, oil, bowls spatulas etc. Wth a soda and some patience though, they are well worth it. Yummy!

Good to make Weed cake
This is so easy to make in your microwave. It’s incredible. I substitute the oil for Weed oil and it works fine. There’s a trick to cooking them if you have a variable powered microwave oven start 300 W until you see it start the form like these peaks and mountains and then stop it and cook it at high power for about another minute or so do not overcook it it will come out like a rock

It was a Sponge Cake, It had the Texture, Flavor and Consistancy of a Rubber Kitchen Sponge
Gosh, Memories of Microwave cake kit I used to buy. I had to try it. BUT...This wasn't it. They were soft and fluffy and made a nice little 8" square cake that was mixed in the panThis is the WORST cake I have ever eaten. I have never had to eat a cake with a knife and fork. It was SO tough and dry...like eating a kitchen sponge. I did not over cook it. I used to be a professional cook. It stuck to the pan and we had to pry it out. We ate a slice and thew the rest away. I regret buying two of these. Waste of money.

READ THE DIRECTIONS!
Read the directions :) it’s important the pan included doesn’t overheat to reduce exposure. Cake is great, you can mix it in the bowl, it’s nonstick
