Exactly as described
I needed to apply some self-leveling caulking around our pool area. The cartridges were not the normal size and I realized I needed a larger caulking gun, preferably within a day or so, in order to complete this project. The Dripless CR400 arrived as promised within a day and works like a charm. No complaints. Its metal, no plastic parts. As long as it doesn't start rusting, I'm sure I'll have it for years to come.

DO NOT BUY!! POS!
Very soft cheap metal caused the grabbing mechanism to bend and it would no longer grab the teeth on the bar so it stopped working. I took it apart and straightened the mechanism but it bent very quickly again. First time using it but cannot return due to past time of return window so threw away $22! Bought higher quality local for $5 less.

Strength required
Who knew how much hand strength was required to operate this caulk gun I used for 28 oz cement glue. It is good material but for a female the size made it tough; had to use two hands but got the job done.

Worked for me!
I don't like ratchet style caulk guns for they are almost disposable to me compared to commercial style guns. This thing was CHEAP ($10) and paid for itself in applying four 29 oz tubes of Sikaflex SL to my expansion joints. I would not pay $20 for it though; this gun style can be a PITA if you're not an experienced caulker bc of the method used to cease flow when relocating or changing direction of the bead application. In short, great buy as priced!

Not contractor grade, not recommended.
Sorry folks, I canโt recommend this one. On my first use, the trigger would not grab and push the plunger into the tubing of adhesive. It continued to slip with pulling on the trigger. Within a few tried the trigger would not grip the plunger shaft at all. I tried to reseat the tube and the plunger and adjust the trigger grip to no avail. Rather frustrating when you are in the middle of a job and a new tool fails. I tried to service it and then gave up on it and threw it in the trash. Ended up cutting the tube of adhesive and using a putty knife to get me through the task at hand. Disappointing.

Revolutionary
Sceptical of the dripless claim but purchased never the less. Amazing product. Actually is dripless. No cleanup messes and easy control of flow for filling variable width cracks. Cuts caulking time by at least a factor of 2 (probably more). Highly recommended. Will transform your caulking.
