Starbucks by Nespresso Original, Blonde Roast Espresso 50-count

I’ve owned an Nespresso for a really long time and never really used it. I decided to finally start giving it a go, and these are by far my favorite pods. It taste just as good if not better than getting it brewed at a Starbucks location I’ve been using them for a couple weeks and personally, I use about one a day so it’s a really great deal compared to getting your espresso out. It’s a cheaper price ordering through prime than it is at grocery stores so I’ll be putting this on my re-order list. I know Starbucks has other flavors, but I particularly like the blonde roast. It’s really smooth and goes really nice if you’re making lattes.

I'm very happy with these Nespresso pods. I use them to make espresso and lattes, both hot and iced. They work well in my Nespresso Original and are a great value compared to other Nespresso pod. I prefer the flavor of Starbucks' blonde roast espresso over their original. Their original is too bitter for me. I've bought these twice, and will most likely buy them again.

So far these have been my favorite Nespresso pods. These taste just like the Starbucks blonde espresso, they are very smooth and yet rich with flavor.

I make my own lattes and cappuccinos at home with these pods. If you like Starbucks and making your own drinks, I recommend trying these blonde roast pods!

Update: I love the coffee and this is by far the cheapest place to get them. I am changing my rating from 2 stars for poor shipping to 5 stars for the actual pods. I contemplated how to force Amazon to ship it better and came up with a plan - buy more than will fit in a mailer to make them use a box and make sure you don't order anything heavy that they can put in the box with them. To be safe, I didn't order anything else that week to make sure my pods came alone. It worked! For the first time in 3 shipments we did not have a single crushed pod and now we have enough pods to last a few months. We ordered 3 of the 50 packs (total of 150 pods) and that was perfect. Dates were all good and none expire in less than 10 months. Update: we gave them a second chance and another set of pods came crushed (even worse than the first ones). I don’t understand why they can’t figure out how to put these in sleeves that don’t crush or ship them in a hard side package. We will no longer be buying them from Amazon because I’m tired of throwing away pods. The last pic with the completely crushed pod in the center was our newest batch. That one will have to be thrown away and some of the other ones are questionable as to whether they will work. Takes away from the cost-effectiveness of buying them through Amazon if you have to throw away almost a whole sleeve. very disappointed. This is our third or fourth order of these pods and we’ve had a few that were slightly damaged but usable. This is the first sleeve out of this new box and seven out of 10 pods are essentially unusable. If you’re not familiar with an nespresso machine - the pods have a rubber seal that goes around the edge to make a seal and then water is forced through the pod and if the rims cannot connect with that seal you lose a lot of the coffee into the collection chamber in the bottom instead of going into your cup. They essentially don’t work when they look like this. There’s a no refund and no return policy so I will be contacting Amazon independently to see what they will do about this because it’s completely unacceptable.

Overall, I think this is a great value. It fits our Nespresso original machine perfectly. It comes out not too bitter and is incredibly mild with a decent crema. I do not think it has a lot of caffeine since I need a few to keep me awake. I would recommend this for someone who wants something more mild.

These fit my Nespresso Essenza Mini without any problems and brewed just fine. I liked these because they have a smoother, lighter flavor than darker espresso pods, but they still taste like real coffee and not watered down. They are easy to drink, balanced, and especially good with a little milk or half and half. If you usually find darker pods a little too bold or bitter, these are a nice change. The packaging was good and the best by date was also pretty far out, which was nice to see. Overall, these are good pods if you want something smooth, mellow, and easy to enjoy.
