This was my first paint by numbers in many years and I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out in the end. I did make several mistakes that I was too lazy to fix, mainly accidentally resting my hand in wet paint ... oops. I'm very pleased with the end result regardless of the mistakes I made and plan to hang this up. As for the kit itself, I think the only complaint I have is that it only came with one brush. The brush worked fine but I feel like it was hard to control because of how long the bristles were, though this may just be down to experience. As for the paints they were all great, but I did have to go over the oranges and yellows again. Overall I'm very pleased with the end result and I'm looking forward to buying more.

If you are purchasing from Canada, there is duty on this that will be owing at time of delivery, which is not stated at checkout. The paints are excellent quality, lots of paint in each large pot. The numbers are light and easy to colour over, which I appreciate. Overall quality is excellent. I personally don't like large sections to paint, I prefer small to make the painting look more realistic. These sections are large, so the painting looks exactly like the photos in the description. Looks like blobs, not defined. I'd buy another from this brand if there wasn't a significant duty charged ($20 Cdn). And if the sections were much smaller. Such beautiful quality. Toothpick for perspective.

Durch den Lockdown habe ich mir überlegt, Bilder für meine Wohnung nicht einfach zu kaufen, sondern selbst zu malen und habe mich sofort in die verschiedenen Motive von Schipper verliebt. Da ich erst mit etwas kleinem und ruhigen anfangen wollte, um zu sehen ob es mir überhaupt liegt, habe ich mich für dieses hier entschieden. Ich bereue es definitiv nicht, es war sehr leicht auszumalen, hat aber trotzdem etwas Zeit und Geduld gebraucht und mich einige Tage gut Beschäftigt. Die Farben decken sehr gut, auch die hellen Töne, sodass von den Zahlen und Linien am Ende nichts mehr zu sehen ist. Außerdem blieb ausnahmslos bei jeder mindestens die Hälfte übrig, so dass ich sie aufbewahren und vielleicht für andere Projekte verwenden werde. Der Pinsel in der Größe 2 war gut geeignet, allerdings hätte ich an wenigen Stellen einen noch kleineren gebraucht. Die Qualität ist sehr gut. Ebenso hat auch der Karton, auf dem man malt, eine tolle Qualität. Er ist sehr fest und robust, und die Oberfläche hat die Farbe gut gehalten ohne dass etwas verlief oder einzog. Ein minimaler Minuspunkt ist, dass einige der hellen Farben einen leichten Rosastich hatten, wodurch der mittlere Weg nicht ganz so aussieht wie auf dem Foto, sondern etwas rosa bzw. lila. Ich finde es allerdings trotzdem sehr schön und es sieht auch nicht unnatürlich aus, deshalb ziehe ich dafür keinen Stern ab. Alles in allem kann ich eine klare Kaufempfehlung geben.

Habituée de la peinture aux numéros, c’est la première fois que je peins un Schipper et j’en suis très satisfaite : - les pots de peinture sont bien remplis - la peinture est liquide et s’étale aisément : je mélange la peinture avec un cure-dent avant l’utilisation - le pinceau est idéal pour les petits détails - la toile est prête à peindre : pas besoin de mettre du gesso - la dimension est idéale : pas besoin de chevalet - le dessin est parfait - le rendu est magnifique
