I actually bought this to put down on the step to my shower. I installed it just before Christmas last year,its May now and its still holding up good. Can't say how good this is outdoors in the sun and cold temperatures which is what its intended for,but for my purpose it worked great. I cut the strips, cut the corners on the end of the strips like the instructions tell you,cleaned the surface of the step really well, laid down the strips,used a wood block to press down on the strips to help them adhere better. Not really sure what happened with others that used this item...why it didn't work, they didn't really give much detail...worked good for me.

The plastic cover on tailgate of my truck is very slippery. I stuck several strips of this on there and now it is nice and grippy. If I slide heavy, sharp objects across it, it can kind of gouge it a bit, but the rest of it stays put. This will cut just fine with a pair of scissors, just don't use the wife's fancy sewing scissors. Clean the area where you want to stick it to well, I used a bit of rubbing alcohol.

Installed these on my painted wooden porch, and they're still attached after a Minnesota winter and summer.

Bought this to make the 2 steps on my little step ladder safe to stand on sock-foot. Also put on the pedals in my pickup so my feet don't slide on them so much when my boots are full of snow or mud. Bought the 2" width from Lowe's and put on my basement stairs to help the old dog not fall down them. Going on outdoor deck stairs next after they are sanded and repainted.

The first time i ordered such a product, The tap turned out to be a roll of about 60 grit sandpaper. This product is a rubber grit. I am using it to put object on a table top. I did not want it to move without intention. I did not want a sandpaper that would scratch up the table top if pushed to its new location.

Lo utilicé para darle mejor agarre a un par de linternas y las terminales de mis cables usb. Me gustó que no se siente tan agresivo al tacto, el adhesivo agarra muy bien, no he probado si resiste el agua, pero no dudo que así sea. Definitivamente cumple su objetivo.

I installed these on some indoor stairs that were a bit slippy. These have worked great for many months and don't seem to have worn at all. They were easy to install and really improve your grip. I have purchased more for some outdoor stairs and will update the review after a few months of use.

Works good for outdoor wood steps, added staples to ensure it won’t come loose, seems like 80 grit, wish it was closer to 40. See how well it lasts.
