When I received this it wasn't at all what I expected. I thought it would be a sweet, floral orange blossom, straight on. Kind of like hand soap. At the first spray I thought I must have gotten a bad batch. Other reviewers said it was sweet—no way was this sweet. It was woody, with scent of bitter rind. I let it sit for a couple months, and it was slightly better. I could finally smell a hint of sweet. Another three or four months and I thought I'd try it once more before giving it away. OHHH! I cannot stop reaching for it. It is sweet but there's also a sense of green leaves, rind, woodiness, juice—the whole essence of an orange grove. I love this perfume. I think I changed my mind mostly because my expectations changed. I knew it wouldn't be soapy sweet and so I wasn't judging it on that. It is sweet, but not sugary, syrupy sweet. It's breathing in orange blossoms outside in an orange grove. I think I'll always have a bottle of this. I wear it EVERY DAY.

Lovely natural scent - sweet and spicy and one of my favorites.

I’ve been south a couple times a year for many years and I love the times when the orange blossoms are in! The complete air around is just heavenly! I haven’t been back since 2012 and was missing the blossoms do I wanted orange smelling perfume. This is not it by a long shot! There is a very faint smell of orange but a far cry from orange blossom perfume! They have mixed in some woodsy smell and just ruined the blossom smell. I would have given it a zero if that was available! Sorry this isn’t a good buy!!

Bought this for my mom. She says it’s not true orange blossom but smells wonderful and she loves it. Wears it every day.

More flowery-perfumy than I normally wear. Anyone who has driven past an orange tree when it's in full bloom knows just how delicious that fragrance it. I was hoping this was the same. It is NOT. I work in the medical field so try to stay away from strong perfumes and flowery perfumes. I prefer fragrances that are light and citrusy. I won't purchase again. I didn't dislike it enough to send it back, but I'm still on the prowl for something that truly smells like orange blossoms.

Bit of a strong smell so use sparingly. Nice scent

Like being on a tropical vacation with the smell of orange blossoms in bloom! The scent lasts 6-7 hours on my clothing and is fresh and light without being over powering. It’s a good day fragrance and a decent value for the size of the bottle and price.

Does not smell like orange blossom. It smells like dusty vanilla and baby powder. Like an old lady.

Me encanta el de fleur d’oranger, conocí estos perfumes cuando fui a visitar Versailles, los vendían en las tiendas. Me traje el fleur d’oranger y el de Rose, creo que entonces habían 3 olores diferentes. Veo ahora que hay más variedad. Iré probando pero estoy encantada con el clásico fleur d’oranger, es fresco, inspirante sin olor a química y suave. Mis hijos dicen que huelo a Versailles porque les recuerda el viaje que hicimos ahí y les encantó. Todo un acierto :)

Exactly the fragrance I was looking for !

Neroli ist ja so eine Sache. Da gibt es aufdringliche Kombinationen mit Jasmin und Patchouli, bei denen man spontan Kopfschmerzen kriegt und selbst hungrige Stechmücken entsetzt abdrehen, dann gibt's die dramatische Orangenblüte im berühmten rechteckigen Flacon, rauchig-holzige Varianten, gourmandige oder seifig-synthetische Kompositionen.... Ich hab mich bei diesem Fleur D'Oranger hier vom hübschen schlichten Zerstäuber-Flacon verführen lassen und mir angesichts des günstigen Preise nicht soooo viel versprochen – und bin positiv überrascht. Diese Orangenblüte kann echt was! Der Duft präsentiert sich von Anfang an fröhlich-leicht, nicht zu aufdringlich, der Jasmin als Mitspieler ist wahrnehmbar, aber angenehm dezent. Die Haltbarkeit ist nicht allzu lang, aber das macht nichts, der subtile Neroli-Charakter bleibt lange auf der Haut und ist in den Haaren auch am nächsten Tag noch zu orten. Eine unkomplizierte sommerliche Orangenblüte, die richtig Spaß macht!
