As someone who struggles with blackheads, dull skin, and uneven texture, I’ve spent a small fortune on spa treatments over the years. This device has honestly given me comparable results at a fraction of the cost—right in my own bathroom! What I Loved: • Powerful Yet Gentle Suction: It has multiple intensity levels, so you can start slow and adjust as your skin gets used to it. I use the lower setting on my nose and the higher one on my cheeks and forehead. It really pulls out gunk from my pores without causing redness or irritation. • Visible Results: After just one use, I could literally see the difference—smaller pores, smoother texture, and a glow I usually only get after a facial. My skincare products are also absorbing better, which tells me it’s actually removing that dead skin barrier. • Easy to Use & Clean: It’s lightweight, ergonomic, and comes with clear instructions and multiple heads for different functions. Cleaning it is a breeze, which I appreciate for hygiene purposes. • Rechargeable & Portable: No fuss with batteries. I charge it once a week and it holds power well. Plus, it’s compact enough for travel. Pro Tips: • Steam your face or use a warm towel beforehand to open up pores for best results. • Don’t overdo it—2x a week max worked best for me. • Move the device slowly and evenly—don’t hover on one spot or you’ll risk redness.

This device sucked hard enough to break capillaries on my nose but doesn't pull out blackheads. It might remove a few loose surface flakes but that's it. As for the exfoliation, you might as well rub sandpaper on your face. It's a coarse, rough head with suction (no rotation or movement). UPDATE: two days after using for the first time I have a giant triple-headed cyst the size of a dime on my cheek. I never get cysts. This is not strong enough to pull blackheads but is strong enough to rupture pore walls! AVOID!

This device is nothing like I have ever tried before. I was always scared of trying a face tool because I believed they either didn't work or they would mess up your face. I always thought these devices were definitely not worth trying but I was too intrigued and just had to try this one out. I got a kick out of using it and was seriously amazed when this would lightly pull on my skin. I thought it would hurt and truthfully it doesn't even feel like a pinch it's more like a suction cup to areas on your face. After washing my face with a cleanser and warm water I started moving the device on areas of my face in vertical motion. After, I looked at the tip and saw what was taken out. I could clearly see that many impurities and blackheads were extracted. Then out of curiousity I decided to look in a mirror and caught site of my face being a bit red but nothing alarming. I then touched my face and felt how smooth it felt and my pores have never felt cleaner. I went in a second time with another tip called the extracting suction tip and got the same results. Lastly I used the very narrowed suction oval size tip to work on my t zone and really get in the creases around my nose. Those areas are more sensitive but I didn't have a hard time and got some hard to reach black heads. Overall, I think this device did wonders to my face and I will be using it once a week.

Pretty good suction power, if you don't lose the seal against your skin. I didn't seem to get much gunk out of my pores, but perhaps there wasn't much there to begin with. The oval tip does not work for me at all, seems to have a faulty seal to the unit so it can't create suction, which is unfortunate. I mainly got it for bug bites (to suction out the little jerks' saliva that causes the itching), so hopefully it will work well for that purpose.

This microdermabrasion tool definitely has the power! This little tool is great for an overall at-home Microdermabrasion treatment. It's fairly easy to use and has the power to really give your skin a close-to-spa treatment. The product comes with two functions - the diamond-bit treatment head to really buff and exfoliate the skin and three extraction heads to vacuum up and remove all of the resulting dead skin. With 5 customizable speeds/power-levels, you're free to set it as light or as powerful as you choose - I certainly recommend starting on the lowest level for your first try. I am always the one that says "Oh, I'm no newbie - that's not meant for me, I can try stronger!" So, I tried the second lowest level for my first time and I should have likely started lower! Start slow - this baby has the power! The other recommendation that is made by Spa Sciences when using this tool - and that I will strongly second - is to ensure that you keep the tool moving across your skin at all times. Do not let the tool hover over any one portion of your skin for a longer period of time. It will try to suction and get stuck in one area due to the suction power - try not to let that happen as it will lead to red marks and irritated areas. (If that happens, it's okay - the irritated red areas were gone by the next morning! The price point, at $29, can't be beat! For a tool that has this power level and does this level of a job at home, $29 is a steal, in my opinion. If you're looking for a tool that has the power to give you a genuine at-home microdermabrasion treatment at an affordable price, I'd definitely recommend checking out the Mio!

I love this little machine! It has been a game changer for my skin. If you are tired of squeezing, but this. It is totally worth it. A couple months later I had an issue with battery life. Spa Sciences was super responsive and offered solutions that worked for me.

item arrived. i have charged it for hours and by the time i wanted to try it, it "worked" for 5-6 minutes and turned itself off, needed to be charged again. as for the performance of it - FAIL to remove even one black head, the suction is very weak.. tried all the accessories - nothing worked. very dissapointing, wast of money. I want my money back.

This item is everything they say it is! Update: I'm so disappointed. I love this product but the charging issue is real. I don't understand why the replacement worked once but will not turn on again! It has a full charge, green light, but nothing happens when I push the power button. I really wanted this to be a regular part of my routine since I can tell how beneficial it is for my skin. The power issues are a deal breaker. I'm returning it (again) and will look for a similar product. Before: So far I've only used the lowest power with the diamond head and extractor head, but the results are obvious. My trouble spots are the sides of my nostrils and my chin from lower lip corners to jawline having large pores, whiteheads and orange peel skin. I've had facials of different sorts so I know what to expect from exfoliation and extraction. This item delivers. I used it in front of a high magnification mirror and was able to see the whiteheads being pulled out. I'm going slow with the power so as not to irritate my skin until I'm used to it, but I can't wait to see how I look over time. I'm really happy with this item. I did one thing wrong, I failed to read the instructions before using. I should have charged it for 24 hours before using but didn't which led me to think it was defective and I asked for a replacement. My bad, sorry. With the replacement I read the instructions and could not be happier with this product! It's easy to use, has great power, lightweight and easy to hold. I'm hoping my 5 star review makes up for the trouble of returning the original, that was totally my fault. I highly recommend this item!
