This was awesome! We have a Chevy Tahoe and the interior is in great condition except right where our elbow sits on the center console, the "leather" had worn through and rudely reminded me everytime we went for a drive! So I went on the search to find the perfect solution. After searching google, amazon, ebay, all kinds of other used car parts stores and seeing that the replacement was going to be 100s of $$$s I found this replacement cover. I know, I know, this is too good to be true, the price, the reviews saying how easy it is, the matching of color, the matching of exactly what I need. Then I thought do I even know how to do something like this??? Well too late, I bought it! And in lightning speed it was shipped and then my wife's looking at me like, um, when you gonna put this in??? So I watched a how to video, took some pictures of the old console, and then decided to give it a whirl. Well like so many other reviewers have said, if I knew this was going to be this easy I would never have hesitated and would have done this years ago!!! It really was a simple fix. I used a small staple gun, like an upholstery stapler, and an auto screwdriver (lazy, I know...) but after removing the old cover, the new one slipped on very easily and in just a few moments I was stapling it back together. It did take a small amount of stretching in order to get it in without wrinkles, but all in all, this is amazing! The coloration is slightly lighter than the rest of the interior, but hardly noticeable. I was able to smooth out any wrinkles, and the best part is it is comfortable to put my elbow on when I drive again! Buy the thing and drive on!

We used this to replace the center console in our 2012 suburban, which had a big tear in it. This fit perfectly and looks great. It's a little challenging to install because of the placement but that's to be expected. Wish I had ordered it years ago.

Looked and fit, just like the factory one

I was concerned with the quality and had read it may just be the cover needing to be stapled on. It IS the full replacement pad. You have to unscrew the plastic cover to access the hinge screws. Make sure you lift the lid lock to move the catch so the underside cover will come out. Not doing that can break the latch catch. Cons: The color is barely a shade off, but flows with the upper gray of the dash. Also it being up on the console and between the seats it looks great, so not really a Con but wanted for you to know. The many negative issue is the hinge screws may not line up. You have to reuse the ones removed, but they done a very poor job with the replacement lid holes. This issue is why I gave only 4 stars. I would definitely buy again and recommend.

It covers the open area in my center console of 2011 Chevrolet Silverado work truck edition very nice and cleanly. It is well made and seems durable with the right amount of padding, good thickness of cover material that is stapled securely to a sturdy plywood baking board. My only issue is that there's no mechanism to keep it securely over the opening. My thought is that it could have a cleat attached to the bottom edged with a rubber gasket the size of the opening that would work much like a bottle stopper to remedy the sliding. Other than that it is a fine product.

Thank you for sending an item that actually fit and looks amazing! Everything went in smoothly, and worked well. The only things that would make it better... 1)Black screws to match GMCs, the silver ones don’t look very good. I just used the old ones, and it worked well. 2) instructions would have been a good add. I just YouTubed it, and all was good to go. Thanks again for a good buy and product.

I was very impressed with how well this fit my 2008 Chevy Silverado. there is a little bit of tailoring that needs to be done for the tray cut out to fit correctly (Trimming it to fit your vehicle) but once that was done, it tucked in nice and looks stock. I would recommend this to anyone who has a similar style console that needs an update!!

2008 2500HD -- seems to be of the same colour and quality that the OEM was ...of course the screw holes did not line up at all and it was a huge pain to have to twist and turn it to make the holes all line up to install the cover .... and of course - unlike the original that would snap closed literally with the dropping of the lid -- this one you have to slam down like your mad at it for it to close and lock .... also the screws they give you to put the lid cover on the lid is so soft that using a regular Phillip screw driver will strip the heads ... I finally had to use the original screws which worked fine we will see how it holds up .. the last one lasted 13 years ....

Product arrived quickly and was designed better than the original. Cut outs match up perfectly. Original was attached via upholstery staples so I bought one and attached the same way. Very happy with the results

I'm quite happy with product. Fit well, color is pretty spot on (tan) . Have to use a pneumatic staple gun to get staple through plastic. I rate 4/5 as I feel the slit in the middle for center plastic piece is a little to high. I had to pull everything forward in order for the plastic center to cover the pre-cut "opening", which made the back corners kinda outta place. Overall I'm content with this product

It lasted 8 months then it began to tear up

I just installed this on my 2011 GMC Sierra. There isn't a ton of videos on this but I was able to do it without much trouble. I had to remove only 3 bolts to get the whole armrest off. I then cut the old material off. It fit well on my armrest. The velcro allows access on the one side, it is missing the cutout for the bolt and swivel bar on the opposite side. I just fit it on and cut out the small holes with and exacto knife easily. Re installed no problem and looks great.

Not sore why people say it didn’t fit? I have a feeling they ordered the wrong one Took about 10 min to swap out and it works great Color is a bit off and it’s a bit cheap feeling but still a great product I have a 2014 Sierra LTZ
