Decor Therapy Modern Floor Lamp for Bedroom, Living Room, 3 Way Light

I am giving this 5 stars for what it is. It is an inexpensive nice looking floor lamp. It is well enough made and sturdy enough. It is all I expect when purchasing an inexpensive floor lamp. What I was looking for was an inexpensive lamp to replace a 15+ year old lamp that was in our basement. I wanted something that I could control light brightness and dimness. I wanted something that offered a soft light to give a warm homey comfortable feel to our basement as well doing yoga without bright lights glaring down on me. I did not want to spend a lot of money because the lamp it was replacing was new to our basement in the last 9 months or so. We had it originally in our living room. When we replaced the living room lamp, it was still in working order so instead of donating or throwing it away, we brought it down to the basement. What we learned was that we really liked having a floor lamp in the basement so we can control the brightness. Weight wise, this is a light lamp. When I picked up the box when it arrived, I was amazed how light it was and how small the package was. The weighted base is about 10.5 inches in diameter. Where we have it placed- out of the way of foot traffic and animals- it works. My concern if it was not out of the way or if we had little ones running around is that it bumped or grabbed it can easily fall over. To put it together, it was extremely easy. Twist a few poles. Uncollapse the lampshade. Put in a bulb. Plug it in. It is working. It took me longer to find a 3 way lightbulb in our house. I was skeptical about the lampshade. It arrives collapsed and flat. Stretching out the few rods/brackets that are assembled on the lampshade makes the lampshade a lampshade. I was concerned it would look really cheap fully assembled. It looks good. The lampshade is not the best made. In a couple spots, The hem at the bottom seems to buckle a tiny bit from the shade itself. Overall, the lampshade works very well with it and put all together, I don't see the imperfections in it. Again, I am reviewing this as an inexpensive floor lamp. The swivel arm works easily and well. There are no defects in the lamp itself. No scratches. No dings. It is a decent quality inexpensive floor lamp. It is exactly what I would expect for what I paid for. There are no frills to it. It is basic. It Offers a beautiful soft light and tucks easily into a corner.

First - Can't say enough great things about Amazon Delivery Service, Super fast polite drivers - worth the cost ! Just got my lamp - Super easy to assemble even without directions, common sense, and only took minutes ! The enclosed lamp shade would need a cool iron run over it to look halfway decent, my advice - pick up a cheap one at Lowe's or Home Depot, you'll be much better pleased. Have a vac or dust buster handy as foam crumbles all over. Customer Feed Back sold me on this lamp and they were right ! Thanks to all who submitted Feedback as you told me what I needed to make a value decision ! Also -Assembled Lamp stand 5 feet tall, ignore item description that lists measurements as 15x15x15, that's only the shipping container size.

This review is for the bronze swing arm floor lamp. My current swing arm floor lamp died. I did not want to spend a lot of money to replace it because I expect to move within the next year or 2 and my lamps always take a hit when I move. I settled on this one and got a good price buying it from the warehouse in "Like New" condition. Someone had barely opened the box and returned it, probably because they saw that the shade arrives flat. Up till now I have refused to buy “erect it yourself” lampshades, but I had the shade from my dead lamp, in fact that’s what I’m using because I like the color better. The shade to this lamp is a champagne color and has a slight sheen. I was impressed how nice-looking it turned out when I flipped the 3 supports into place. Be careful, you can pinch your fingers doing it. My styrofoam was a mess but I've had to deal with that before. The real problem is the little beads of foam are very staticky and cling to everything and jump around. They cling to the vacuum hose where you can't suck them up...sigh. Comparing the post of this lamp to my lamp that died, it's a much narrower diameter. I did find it difficult to screw in and seat the post sections perfectly and when I tried to undo one because I thought it was askew, the post took the bare metal threaded part from the lower section. I couldn't get the post tightened to where it had no wobble (very slight), but luckily where I've placed it, it won't matter. I couldn't get the top pole section completely seated to where you couldn't see bare metal, but it's only a tiny bit showing and it doesn't actually show where I have this lamp placed. The swing arm portion, harp, etc., are not perfectly straight and true but that's been the case with every swing arm lamp I've ever purchased. Oh Well. Don't buy this if a slight misalignment will drive you crazy. I don't think this lamp is worth the List Price but it's fine at a lower price point.

This lamp is the perfect addition to my foyer. The one I purchased is just like the pics and description. It's 5 feet tall and the shade is the perfect size in my opinion. The color is nice. Lamp was packaged nicely and arrived without any scratches or dings. Super easy to assemble, light weight but wide base makes it sturdy, and best part is it doesn't need any special bulbs. I'm using a 3-way bulb and it's working out great for my needs. Could be used in any room. It's a great alternative to a table lamp.

The lamp is straight and symmetrical when assembled and looks quite good. Its coat of paint is even and overall presents well. The base could be a little larger and heavier, but it does its job. Could be slightly wobbly on a plush carpet. Personally, I was not terribly impressed with the shade and replaced it, but it too is acceptable and better than others I have seen with comparable lamps. The socket is, as others have pointed out, only rated to 100, not 150, watts. An LED 50/100/150 three-way replacement bulb generally maxes out at 19 or so watts, so this shouldn't be an issue if one needs plenty of lumens.

I put this up in less than 5 minutes. It is perfect in adding a little light when reading in the evening. I like the swing lamp and the option of 3 way lighting as needed. The lamp shade was easy to snap into place for a quality looking pole lamp I put in the corner of my living room. It is not too high but just the right height to compliment my wall decor.

Great lamp for the price. Lamp shade is folded for shipment and is wrinkled, but once the arms within the shade are properly extended, it’s turns out just fine. As other reviewers have said, DO NOT open in your home unless you want mini styrofoam balls all over the place. Assembled within 5 mins. Good and sturdy on carpeting. When screwing pole together, just be careful not to cross thread the parts. If done carefully, no problem. Very nice lamp and would definitely recommend a buy.

The components of this lamp are beautiful and look high quality. But sadly when I screwed the lamppost together one of the threaded pieces had been placed at an angle, making the lamppost crooked even though sturdy. The decorative globe at the top of the lamppost had broken pieces. Have requested a replacement because I will never find one I like better. The 3 stars are solely for the quality of the components if they hadn't been faulty. It truly is beautiful but it will be a mess to return because the styrofoam packing breaks apart into tiny peas when touched. I hope the next one will be perfect when assembled. It is packed so tightly that I know it wasn't damaged in transit. 5/1/23 Replacement came very quickly but I couldn't bring myself to open it because of the horrible mess the styrofoam makes. Just opened it. The globe was not broken but once again the threading between the 2 bottom sections of the lamppost is crooked. It will not connect completely. Am not going to return it because of the complete mess it makes. Will have a couple of friends try to do something or will paint the silver threading piece so at least it doesn't show so much. After 2 experiences with this product I want to take away one of the stars since there is obviously no quality control. Those 2 stars are mainly for customer service. Yes it is very pretty and like the photos but the thrill is gone.

Algo faltaba en ese rincón de la sala... Esta lámpara hizo el lugar más acogedor, me encantó el modelo y la relación precio calidad!! Viene bien empacada y es muy fácil de armar. Definitivamente la recomiendo!!!

Una lámpara bonita y elegante, alta y que no tiene un precio demasiado elevado. Cuenta con un acabado excelente que la hace lucir bellísima. La tela es buena, la pintura también lo es. Ampliamente recomendada.

Es económico y attrativa - pero es hecho de materiales más baratos y fallan fácilmente. La rosca en la última pieza no era bien fabricada, y yo tenía una problema juntando las piezas. Junto sueco pero, si sirve. Dos estrellas menos por materiales defectuosos. Hubieran sido mejor.

Es muy bonita. Cumple todas las expectativas.. super decorativa y funcional
