Super impressed with this kit!!! Especially for the affordable price. Really thought we were going to end up with the huge expense and aggravation of getting new flooring because of the widening gaps in our laminate, particularly in the kitchen — we suspect it's from little drips and spills over the years that didn't get dried up quickly enough, which caused shrinking or whatever you'd call it of the flooring material. The very first tap on the first tile we tried was jaw-dropping! Immediate result and easy to use! That suction cup power is great. The mallet is smaller and lighter weight than one we already have, but that's good, because you're less likely to put too much force on the flooring and cause damage. Just going little by little is best. Very grateful this saved us so much money and hassle as we work to get our house ready to sell. Awesome.

Over a year ago I noticed our floating lvp was starting to float apart. It's a weird textured plank and I didn't expect any suction cups to work, so I didn't bother. I finally had enough of fighting with it this week and bought this. Why didn't I buy this sooner?? In 5 minutes every plank was tightly locked! It was simple and easy and quick. The suction cups worked fine. Maybe they will wear out in a few years, but that's fine. This is well worth the twenty bucks. I'm impressed it even came with its own mallet, so I didn't have to go get mine!

I have my luxury plank vinyl installed by a company I've seen on TV for years and even bought the maintenance plan. Who knew that the plan would expire before there was a need for it. I found myself with gaps between the planks in my traffic patterns. I called the company and that it would cost me (non-refundable) for them to come and diagnose the problem and provide an estimate for the repair.I googled the repair and found out that I could do it myself with a suction cup device. I searched Amazon and ordered this set. When it arrived, I was pleased with the sturdy quality of the product and decided to try it out immediately. My floors were fixed in less than an hour for less than the non-refundable cost proposed by the flooring company. Best yes, I own the tool so I can fix future issues as they happen.The product information, and a lot of the reviews, cautioned that the floors must be smooth for the suction to work. My floors have a little texture and the suction was still perfect. The shape of the tool worked well with the included mallet to make it easy for me to move the planks smoothly to fix my flooring.

Two sections of my wood laminate flooring had been dislocated due to vibrations from the garage door underneath. This tool was very easy to use and made short work of repositioning these planks. Incidentally, my flooring is pretty smooth, but not perfectly so. There is a slight texture to it, but no deep grooves, and I had no trouble at all with the suction. Highly recommended!

Product is well built.The mallet is a nice weight.The only issue which is not a design flaw is that the suction cups don’t hold on floors with texture.One thing I did was clean the floors and the suction cups really well. Then I applied Vaseline to the cups and pushed down really hard when I locked down the cups. That seemed to work but you will need to go through the clean and Vaseline process each time.There might be other methods but this is the science of it. If your flooring is smooth you have it made.

Our laminate flooring developed a little gap so this helped close it. Works so well you’ll be banging on hardwood all night long!
