FCHO Floor Gap Fixer Tool for Laminate Floor Gap Repair Include Suction Cup and Mallet (Can't use on scraped surface floor)

My husband absolutely loved this Floor Gap Fixer Tool, and we were both impressed by how effective it is! We recently noticed some gaps forming in our laminate flooring due to seasonal humidity changes, and this tool proved to be a game-changer. The included suction cup and mallet are great additions and make the job easy enough for DIYers like us. The mallet is sturdy and well-made, and the suction cup works well to pull the planks back together. However, I will say the suction cup does require a little patience. It sometimes takes a couple of tries to get a good grip on the flooring, and if it isn’t firmly attached, it can shift when you use the mallet. Once you get the hang of it, though, it’s not a major issue—it just takes a bit of practice. Despite the occasional suction hiccup, the tool is definitely effective. My husband enjoyed using it and appreciated how quickly he could fix the gaps. It’s an affordable, decent product that does exactly what it promises. If your floors are prone to shifting due to temperature or humidity changes, this is a fantastic solution to keep things looking neat and seamless. Highly recommend it for any DIY flooring repairs!

Honestly, I didn’t expect much, but this thing works. The FCHO Floor Gap Fixer Tool pulled my laminate planks right back into place and closed gaps that had been driving me nuts. Once you get the hang of it, it’s super easy to use and doesn’t damage the floor. Way cheaper and easier than dealing with a bigger repair.

Tried everything to get this to stick to the floor however it did not. I was really hoping that it would of worked because shipping was great, paid extra for it to arrive early and now I have to go to the big box store and buy a more expensive version that will actually stick to the floor

This totally works! It was easy to use and fixed the gaps in my floors. Sometimes you have to really press down on the suction cup to get it to properly suction. Once I figured that out I didn't have any issues.

I have my luxury plank vinyl installed by a company I've seen on TV for years and even bought the maintenance plan. Who knew that the plan would expire before there was a need for it. I found myself with gaps between the planks in my traffic patterns. I called the company and that it would cost me (non-refundable) for them to come and diagnose the problem and provide an estimate for the repair. I googled the repair and found out that I could do it myself with a suction cup device. I searched Amazon and ordered this set. When it arrived, I was pleased with the sturdy quality of the product and decided to try it out immediately. My floors were fixed in less than an hour for less than the non-refundable cost proposed by the flooring company. Best yes, I own the tool so I can fix future issues as they happen. The product information, and a lot of the reviews, cautioned that the floors must be smooth for the suction to work. My floors have a little texture and the suction was still perfect. The shape of the tool worked well with the included mallet to make it easy for me to move the planks smoothly to fix my flooring.

This set worked perfectly! Worth every penny. I have woodlike pvc type flooring pieces that slide apart in a few area and this set worked great. Great suction even tho the flooring is somewhat textured. It left no marks at all on the flooring. Super easy to use.

As others have mentioned/indicated, the suction cups do not adhere/grip well to laminate floors that have any type of texture or grooves. I cleaned the floor planks and the suction cups thoroughly before use. I also tried putting tape on the planks to make the surface as smooth as possible. In the end, I was able to accomplish what I needed, but it was not ideal. However, if you have laminate floors that are very smooth, I expect this tool would probably work quite well.

The flooring had a littler texture but it still gripped it well. The hammer does come a part a bit over time but it still held up well and did exactly what I needed.

It helped me repair our floor.
