Good find
Simple solution. Needs no power unlike a digital ammeter. I also have an analog wristwatch, and like the notion of one ( or two) pointers to give me all the information I need. And show trends better than any digital display. These are more difficult to find these days. Glad I did.

Inaccurate, but maybe not too bad for the price
Looks nice, price was low. If one is using an analog meter these days it might be because they want a dynamic display of changing current more than absolute accuracy, that is what I wanted it for and while the bad accuracy is disappointing I'm still going to use it.

Doesn't work
Hooked up in series to read amps and there is no movement of the needle. Defective! I informed the manufacturer, seller, of this three days ago. No response, no support and do not buy if you think support is important for defective items.

Works for me.
I have owned a little 4 amp charger for over 50 years and it always worked very well, even though the amp gauge has been broken for about 45 years. I finally bought a gauge and installed it and it works fine. When I got the charger, it would go to 5 amps even though it's rated output is 4 amps. It automatically decreases the charge as the battery is topped off. The battery it is connected to was on a trickle charger, so it was already charged and the charger was dropping as I took the picture. So, the gauge works great and gave a new lease on life for my antique charger!
