Changed The Air
First air purifier I have bought ever, and I have to say its definitely doing wonders, the air is much cleaner, and I have stopped cleaning dust every 2 days, its finally settled in so nicely that even a bi-weekly dusting is enough, it wont get rid of all dust so dont expect that, but it will significantly reduce the amount of dust. The air it pushes through when deodrant is used its quite surprising, within a couple seconds it senses the deodrant and the air is pushed throughout the rooms, with the smell gone in less than a minute. Great little machine, the only complaint for the night mode is the extremely bright white led for the icons, but I can live with that. its dead silent it surprised me how quiet it is, the cars outside are louder in the evening that are streets away than this. Comes with NO remote control, as others have stated, but fairly simple to automate, chuck a hue smart plug or any smart plug on it and it will intergrate nicely with HA or any automation. The only downside is that you still need to manually turn it on even though the power is switched on, but that can be sorted with a small touch motor. great project. Filters are simple to replace, and they fit snug. No weird smell or anything in the air even with the Plasmawave enabled. Though it does kind of represent the smell of a hospital that is freshly cleaned.

Superb item, working do very well.
So happy I bought two. One for living room and one for bedroom. Absolutely delighted to use. Cleans the air and shows when there is pollution.

Great cost-benefit
I've researched a lot of different brands and models and opted for this one, as it seemed to come from a reliable brand (its certified by allergy uk), and be great cost-benefit. It's potent enough to purify my lounge are which is 36 sqm, but I mostly use it in my bedroom while sleeping, and been really noticing a difference in air quality. I sleep better and wake up with my nose less stuffed. It also looks good and is not too bulky, so easy to move around from room to room, and the noise level is reasonable. My only complaint is that the sleep mode only works in its lowest speed, and that if you're on auto-mode, there's a light sensor that detects if its dark and automatically switches to sleep mode, so if you want to sleep with the purifier working on a higher speed, you need to leave it on manual mode and put up with the light in the room. Doesn't bother me too much because I sleep with a mask on, but it wpuld be great if you could select its speed while still leaving it on sleeps mode with the lights off. But overall a great purchase, does what its supposed to.

It works! Extremely good
This seems to be the sweet spot of best result for best price as far as air purifiers are concerned, completely eliminated a chronic runny nose and sneezing from a long-term dust allergy, nothing else I have tried has been as effective. It noticeably reduces odours, I occasionally move it to the room where we keep pet rats (which, you may know, have a very strong musty smell), and after a couple of hours on maximum the smell completely vanishes. The night mode is extremely quiet andcompletely shuts off the lights on the appliance. I happen to be a light sleeper, and it has not noticeably disturbed me in the past 3 months. Nothing but praise for it, worth every penny.

Good quality mid level air purifier
Overall this is a good air purifier, powerful enough to properly filter the air in a large room. Originally I bought the WINIX U300 but as it had an odour sensor instead of a dust sensor, it was less useful in the room we wanted. This model has an effective dust sensor that automatically changes the power. It is very quiet in night mode, which is automatic based on a light sensor. Even normal mode is not that noisy. It seems well built and is still working well 7 months in. The only downsides for me are it doesn’t have a remote like the U300 and there is no way to programme on/off times - it won’t work with a timer plug either because the power button always needs to be pressed on the unit to turn on.

Great product. A air purifier that actually works!
I've tried many 'desktop' and 'mini' purifiers but left disappointed. So I read lots reviews & this model was consistently highly rated. It has more than met my expectations. The auto and sleep modes are just brilliant. As for the cost. I'll need to look over the course of the year. I'll try & report back if i can. That said; I would absolutely recommend this product.

Air in the house is much cleaner
The Winix looks modern, easy to setup. Works really well Unboxing – All of the filters were sealed in clear plastic covers. In the box you get a spare HEPA filter and 4 carbon filter sheets. Super user friendly. Powering up it plays a little tune, then defaults to auto mode. Automode decides what fan speed to run 4 speeds, 1 is very quiet, the loudness increases to around 51dB at full power which does sound like a small jet engine. The long bar on the front shows the current air quality, Blue is good, Amber is dirty, red is bad. I have used the Winix for several days, has it made a difference to the air quality in the house ? Yes, I have a Springer Spaniel, noticed a considerable difference in dust particles in the air. Before the air filter I noticed lots of dust and particles in the air, you could see them as light came in through the windows. Now with the air filter they are mostly gone. In the office there is alot less dust on the computer monitors. Night Mode It is super quiet in night mode, even light sleepers will not be affected by the noise. I really am considering buying another one so I can have one in the office and the other in the bedroom or sitting room.

Looks great, easy to use, not sure how good.
This is my second air purifier with hepa filter. First one was a Philips but cost nearly £400 despite being same size and with similar functions. Bought this to keep in son's room rather than lug the Philips around to various rooms. My son suffers very badly from hay fever. Huge puffy..itchy, eyes that are red and bloodshot and the Philips would clean the air in his room quickly and efficiently and he'd be feeling better quite quickly. We leave it on over night to ensure a good night's sleep. This Winix doesn't seem to produce the same results though. I am not convinced it is doing what it says. With the Philips, the room smelled cleaner. You could put it on, leave the room and return 10 or 15 mins later and get a clear sense of cleaner, better air but I don't get that with this machine. It must be doing something, I'm sure, but in my opinion, it's not doing it well or efficiently and maybe that's why it was the price it was. Hayfever, for my son, is such an issue when it kicks in, that he has had to be collected from school and so a good, powerful and very efficient air-purifier is worth its weight in gold and if I had to make a judgement, this machine isn't one of them.
