Is it compatible with Xbox one

I can confirm that this chair works with: Xbox one, Xbox 360, Xbox, Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo 64!!, Gamecube, GameBoy, Virtua Boy requires this flat, stable add-on (rip-off), Wii, WiiU even SWITCH! All of the Playstations, heck even vintage consoles like Atari and Colecovision!

I'm not sure which DVD and BluRay players it's compatible with, but as it is just a chair, I'm certain you'll find it's compatible with any device-powered activity in which you participate on your rear-end.

I see this isn't height adjustable. How high is the seat from the floor?

I measured this as my seat was too low.  It sits at 13.25" from the floor to the top of the seat cushion you sit on. I sat down on it, put the tape measure to the floor and rolled it up to the top of the seat cushion.  It is exactly 34 cm.  The manufacturer that says it is 17.25" is way off.  Most normal chairs are at the 40 cm range, which is about 15.75".  This seat is 2 inches below that.  Everybody in our house that has tried to use these reports it is too low for a standard 27" desk.  It is the lowest seat we have.  I measured several times, both chairs we purchased, to verify.  It is 34 cm seat height (from floor to top of seat cushion where you sit your butt).  I compared to other swivel chairs, fixed chairs, all of which are near 40 cm (15.75").  The only chairs we have that sit as low as 13.25" (34 cm) are the folding picnic chairs you pack in a shoulder sling bag with soft fabric seats that dip low when you sit in them.  You will exercise your knees to get out of this chair.  It is low to the ground and not at all suitable for a gaming desk.

How serious is that weight restriction? My husband's around 300 lbs.

Is the width comfortable  for adult male? 220 lbs. 5'11" ?  These type of gaming chaits tend to make you feel very narrow.
