Sturdy, easy to use and clean, compact. Highly recommended!
Looking around at manual juicers, this model was expensive, but it seemed like good quality and less bulky than the others, so I chose it. After a few days of use, I'm very pleased. It's really easy to use and makes great juice. I was concerned about the size of the pressure cup and strainer cone which some reviewers thought was too small and which is not as wide diameter as some other models, but it has worked fine for me even with extra large-sized oranges and average-sized grapefruits. Maybe with extra large grapefruits, the cup is a little small, but it hasn't been an issue for me. The machine is very sturdy and the build is high quality. The only flaw I noticed is that the inside of the pressure cup is made of aluminum and didn't have the clean finished look of other parts. It seems to me that the manufacturer in China took a short cut there and it would have been better if that part was also stainless steel or chrome like the other exposed parts. However, since it only touches the skin of the fruits and is not visible, I don't think it matters much. All of the parts that need cleaning (4 pieces including the pressure cup) are easy to remove and clean. Overall, I highly recommend this juicer, especially considering its compact size and high quality!

Well designed manual juicer
This juicer is so well designed and built you will love squeezing juice. When you press the orange or whatever, the top of the squeezer comes down and there is absolutely no instability as you apply the pressure. It does an excellent job of getting all the juice and really does not let any pulp in. So for you pulp lovers that may be a problem. Although, you could probably rub some off of the stainless steel corer. There is a very handy catchall that easily swings in and out of way, below the squeezer, so you do not get drips on counter between squeezes. The parts that come in contact with what is being squeezed and the drip catchall are easily washed in sink or could be put in dishwasher. The rest can be wiped down with sponge, but in reality, it really has not required that. This is definitely a restaurant grade device and built and priced for that. However, I splurged and got it for home. Yes, it is now made in China, but the build is very, very good. It is tall, so you will have to find a suitable place to store, which again I am glad to do in order to have it. I am so glad to have purchased this and do not miss the loud electric spinning ones at all.

The best citrus juicer of the numerous types I’ve used
This has been a go to example of where paying for quality and simplicity really makes a big difference. I have several friends that are into making cocktails, and here are the reasons I’ve told them this should be on their must buy list for their home bar: -can juice an entire bag of lemons/limes/oranges in minutes (also switching to fresh squeezed citrus really makes all the difference in cocktails). -hand juicers are way too much effort, don’t fully squeeze all the juice out, and break if you use too much force. -I liked my electric juicer, but it’s a huge hassle to clean, and while faster than hand squeezing a large batch, it’s way slower than this type -this model in particular seems worth the extra money because of the stable base. I had a friend buy the Zulay version of this type of press and it tips over. He still likes it over hand squeezing, but cannot juice as many fruit nearly as fast as mine can. For me, this transformed the quality of drinks and food I make due to how quick and easy it has made it to use fresh citrus. Before I would buy the bottled crap because I just didn’t want to go through the effort of squeezing juice. I don’t tend to write many reviews, and when I do they tend to be more negative cautionary tales of problems I’ve had with products. It seems strange to me that I’d be passionate about a citrus squeezer, but I have fond memories of this really upping my game on my cocktail making hobby during the pandemic lockdown.

Awesome juicer
Been using this every day since I came back from Mexico October 9th. And I mean *every* day. One 8lb bag of oranges from wherever I can get 'em (not so easy in the NE). This unit is well constructed and works almost flawlessly. It is indeed quite easy to clean - just 4 pieces and you don't even need soap just fingers and water. It gets about 95% of the juice out of an orange. If the orange is too large, however, like those horrible navels from Chile, it's very difficult to use in this press. The sides of the peel get cut up by the top piece squeezing down and then not only do you get that bitter rind oil that gets squeezed out but then the peel gets stuck inside. Stick to medium sized navels and you will be fine. As others have pointed out doing grapefruits will not work. As a work around I had to cut a slice out of the middle which made the whole process more tedious and also more juice waste from extra cutting. Also the base is not the sturdiest thing in the world. I know they tried to conserve space and weight by making it as small and compact as possible...but I think they might have been better off if they had made a solid base. Since the handle is off to the right side the unit always wants to twist and thus teeters on the 4 rubber pads. The other slightly annoying thing is the drip cup often times will just slam into your container. If the container is somewhat filled it's not a problem but it did flip over once at the beginning of juicing which was massively annoying. I do like the fact that all parts are serviceable. I plan on using it more often than most people. I also really like the sieve cup - that thing is solid stainless steel and you'd have to be really careless to break it.

Feel The Quality
I read all reviews - I've bought so many 'wanna-be' products that when you add them all up you may as-well have bought the best to begin with ! This is my third juicer - over some 10 years mind - total phases of wanting to drink fresh orange juice in the morning. Well this phase was born out of a hotel in Germany pre-Christmas where they had this fab., simple manual juicer with a large bowl of halved oranges & grapefruits alongside- that was it - I must have one. Just think- nothing to get out of the cupboard, set-up and plug in - I wanted this simple press and drink. After much searching for a UK supplier on the Hamilton Beach and the total annoyance of having to pay the import deposit because you can't get it anywhere in the UK - well there was one but they were out of stock ! (I thought you could get deposits back - but nobody has enlightened me on that) - bottom line is this is NOT a cheap appliance but on reflection I'm happy and it looks good on my worktop with a basket of oranges sat alongside N.B. this one does not fit under standard wall units - I think they have a junior model - I've dedicated an area for it - and I'm glad I went for this size. I have come down to about 3 no.oranges per day (it was 10) I find 3 fill a tall glass.(I mean 59p for 6 at Aldi !!--- bargain or what ?) One thing was I was short on my washers - supposed to be two and I only have one - wanted to report this and have one sent through the post but there is only the 'Return' section in Amazon - I waited ages for this juicer and there was no way it was going back for 1 x washer. I did contact Hamilton Beach direct - they said as they didn't supply it was nothing to do with them - derrr - I just want another flipping washer ! Anyway it's working fine without it. Press On !!!

Great product
The Hamilton Beach 932 Commercial Citrus Juicer is a great juicer that gets all the juice out of citrus with very little effort. I grew up with orange and lemon trees using an electric juicer that you pushed the orange-half into while the fruit was agitated by a spinning cone and all the real work was being done by your shoulder at the expense of your wrist - I swore that I would never own a juicer like that when I grew up. Well, now I have orange, lemon and lime trees of my own and know that when its time to harvest there will be a lot of squeezing to be done. This is the tool for the job. Our lemon tree is going OFF and it is no sweat to juice up a ton of lemons. I freeze the lemon juice in 1cup servings for year-round lemonade. I've made orange juice and limeade, too, and that fruit is equally simple to juice with this juicer. Clean-up is a breeze, just lift out the juice cup, funnel and cone (no sharp edges) and rinse - they slide right back on when dry. TIP: do this immediately after juicing - no amount of money spent will make it easy to remove dried citrus from a juicer. I haven't tried grapefruit. I'll post again in a year to comment on the wear an tear, but so far this is a heavy-duty, high-quality product.

The grandmother - this juicer works!
This unit performs quite well with any fruit that is 3.75" or less in diameter. I have used it for lemons, oranges, grapefruits, and pomegranates. For those of you considering whether to buy this model or one of the cheaper knock-offs, keep in mind that this model is the grandmother of all the others and has performed well for several decades. I believe that, in the past, the strainer was aluminum. It is now stainless, and this is where all of the juice passes through. As another reviewer indicates, the plunger is aluminum and not anodized on the inside as it should be. However, the majority of the juice does not come into contact with the plunger and thus I think that concerns about citric acid and aluminum contact, in the absence of a heat source, are over-stated. This model is stable on the counter top. It takes a forceful, two-handed pull without moving or stripping the gear. The strainer and basket are easy to clean after use; just throw them in soapy water and brush the strainer on the inside to remove the pulp. If I want pulp in my juice, there is often enough on the inside of the strainer that I can spoon it out with a teaspoon and add it to my juice. The construction (high-density plastic, steel, and aluminum) strike me as a little looser and less robust than the model my family had in the 1970s, but I can't say that for sure. I have been using this model almost daily for 9 months and have not had any issues.

Best and easiest to use juicer manual or auto!!!
Hamilton Beach 932 Commercial Citrus Juicer, Black I've used many different kind of juicer and blender. Blenders typically puree to a pulp. I've used and once swore by "juice extractor" so much so that I once had an extractor in use and another one as back-up brand new in box just in case the other one is broken. However I found that if I needed a smoothie, I'd pull out my Vita Mix. For simple juice everyday, I now rely on my HB 932. My wife likes to buy 1/2 gallon (or is it a quart) of freshly squeezed orange juice weekly at our local farmer's market. I was doing some calculations, assuming we continously buy them, it would've taken a mere less than 20 weeks supply to pay for this great juicer. Since we bought this juicer from amazon, we've been going through 4-5 bags of oranges on a weekend, each bag contains 8-9 oranges good for about 4 glasses of OJ. Basically each bag is equal to the amount of juice we bought weekly at the market. So based on our current "usages" (now we drink 3-4 times what we had usually bought), it would take a mere 5-6 weeks for this juicer to pay for itself. Not to say it easily produce great amount of juices with no hint of bitterness, it is so simple to use that my 7 year old daughter is happily juicing oranges for the family. Best part is? It's manual with very few parts that could broke (hopefully!!), and this weekend in the face of Hurricane Irene, even though we didn't have electricity, we still HAD our freshly squeezed orange juice to enjoy, Cheers!! Trust me, do your own calculation, forget the frustration of cheap imitation and sometimes just cheap products that may or may not work. There is a price for everything, I think this one is worth its price!
