What size would a 2 year old wear?

Thank you for your inquiry. Toddler is 2-4T, Small is 4-6, so it depends on what size your 2 year old is wearing.

I need to buy it for my son who wears 18 months (he is 1 year and 3 months) .. would it be toddler?

Toddler is actually labeled by the manufacturer as Toddler 2-4T for 1-2 years. They do this as more often than not this age range is wearing the 2T and above. If your child is wearing 18 months, you may want to search for the Superman Infant which is 12-24 months.

My son fits in a 3t so I am not sure if I should order a toddler costume or a size small.

Thank you for your inquiry. The Toddler is for 2-4T, so that would be the best size. The small is 4-6.The manufacturer confuses the issue by saying 2-4T for 1-2 years and Size 4-6 for 3-4 years. They do this as when universal sizing started (many years ago), it was based upon the average "age" of the child. Nowadays, the average size worn by children is usually larger than their age. So when you know the Size, purchase by size.

What is difference between Toddler and Small sizes?
