NERF Dart Tag Speedload 6

This thing has more moving parts than a steampunk typewriter, which means it JAMS constantly. You have to cock it one and a half times about 70% of the time you fire it, and it does horrible twisted things to darts if they dont clear the chamber, so you dont even have that old nerf standby of put-your-finger-on-the-dart-and-fire-because-you-were-just-kidding to disarm a cocked weapon. All that being said it loads fast, comes with darts that stick to clothes (!!!) and looks totally awesome. BTW the gun is huger than the picture will lead you to believe, the darts are scaled up and the gun is scaled down, it's probably 20-30% bigger than that.4 stars because, if you want a nerf pistol, get the barricade. It's semi auto, never jams, and makes a terrifying whirring noise.

I picked up two of these Nerf guns from Amazon on closeout at a very nice price around Christmas 2011. This model is pretty solid all around, but as others have mentioned, it is picky about the darts and about reloading. My observations on how to have many jam-free sessions.1. The darts must be in perfect condition. If they are torn, bent or crushed, discard it, because it will jam the unit.2. When racking the slide, it must be racked quickly, fully, and with medium force. If it is not racked all the way back and then forward, or if it is done too slowly, or done with a wimpy grip, it will jam.3. When inserting darts into the unit, the tip of the dart must be fully forward, and then inserted squarely using three or four fingers on the dart.The first night using these units, they jammed about 1 round out of 10 or 20. But after using them for many months and noticing what makes them jam, I can easily put 100 rounds through without a single jam now.

This is one of my favorite NERF guns. I'm an old man now and I still love nerf products. A lot of fun, shoots fast, easy to reload.

I bought this for my 5 year old nephew, and he was so excited, and I though it would be great because it looked so easy to load... WRONG!! There is no way a child can load or shoot this thing on there own. It needs a lot of force to load the bullets and shoot the gun. Within 20 minutes the bullets got jammed, and now the gun does not work. I bought this for $7 on a holiday deal, and it wasn't even worth that. Very dissapointed!

My 3 boys each got one of these for Christmas. They love to play Nerf tag so I though it would be perfect. The guns get jammed very easily. I think my husband spent more time trying to unjam them than they did playing with them... They have fun with them when they aren't jammed.

I bought two different models of Nerf blasters for my kids for Christmas. This one and the Maverick. The Maverick works great, but this one, not so much. The dart loader has crushed and ruined 2 of the original 6 darts and put holes in them. I bought extra darts and I'll change my review if most of them work fine. It is super fun to play with these guns, my boys love it.

A really nice gun shooting distance is awesome reloads are abit slow it's front heavy which may annoy some people when darts get jammed it's a real pain to unjam accuracy is pretty good too internal magazine is different I just love the way mine shoots it's like someone did a mod on it can't wait to receive the quick 16.

I purchased this gun for my nephew since he likes to have small nerf wars... He loves it! The quick and easy reload is worth the price alone.
