When distance viewing, is the glass clear? I have 20/20 distance and don't need magnification for distance.

These Foster Grants all have magnification at the top, the magnification runs from the quoted strength at the bottom to half that strength at the top, ie a 2.5 pair of these will be 2.5 for reading at the bottom and 1.25 at the top for distance, or close up, depends on your eyes.

Do the glasses from amazon come with the lens power etched in the lens? it isn't polished out of most of the store ones i checked. distracting.

The maximum power of the lens is on the right side arm (temple) of the frame. I have the Braydon model +2.50 diopter max and it says PD60mm+250 on the right temple. The left inside temple space has info on the model and the frame dimensions.

What is the stongest strength in Foster Grant reading glases for men

I purchased a pair of 1.75 and a pair or 2.0 and I think the web shows up to 2.75. They are great progressive no line multi focus glasses for the money. I've paid up to doubled the amount for glasses of a similar type.

I am looking for glasses with 1x on top and 2x on the bottom. Can anyone help locate something like that? Thank you.
