You perhaps don't need to spend $1,500 on a new burglar alarm system. Buy this very loud bull horn for your home security needs. Most people don't turn on their burglar alarms half the time anyway. You also can prepare an audio file on your computer sound recorder and download it to a small thumb drive (USB drive) which you plug into the back of the megaphone. Then when you turn it on whatever was recorded on the thumb drive plays through the megaphone, i.e., music, the sound of gun shots, your pre-recorded warning in your own voice or someone else's voice, etc. The megaphone is loud. Install eight good alkaline c-cell batteries in the unit and forget about it for seven years, or the life of these batteries. Then you'll always have this home security device ready for whatever occasion confronts you. If you know someone who lives by themself then this device, set to play the police siren, will be a very good defensive security tool in lieu of a lethal weapon. I'm sure this device works very well for sporting events and for boating use. The microphone can be attached to the back of the megaphone and it comes with a carrying strap. This works great! Replacing my ANCIENT bullhorn, and this one has some crazy features! It's nice and loud, has the strap, the hand unit, USB, and feels like a quality build. I'll use this for a lot of events, but we actually used it the first time for a kind of public prank around Thanksgiving where we had two full grown men in turkey suits, using this to gobble and refer people to eating more beef. It was incredible. This megaphone put on a nice finishing touch! Pros: Loud Quality Hand Unit Strap for shoulder (couples well with the hand unit) USB Siren Cons: None!

Works well, but crackles in the background during use. I found a DC 12V cord (didnt come in the box) that works with it so i dont have to use any batteries! The 'walkie talkie' looks backwards as I learned to actually speak into the back of it to amplify my voice. Able to connect with phone to play music! Siren is super loud! I like the features and would give this 5 stars if 1. There was no crackle sound 2. Came with dc cord to plug into outlet included.

This megaphone is awesome! I hesitated buying it because of some bad reviews but I'm glad I went ahead and did it. I've been annoying my family and neighbours with it for about a week now and it's great! Very, very loud at maximum volume, nice and clear speaker and I love the detachable mic. It also comes with a shoulder strap so you can carry it at your side and still use the mic. The button on the mic can stay turned on so that you don't have to hold it down while speaking. Great for inciting an unruly mob or hollering encouragement at your child on the soccer field. I went with this model as opposed to the rechargeable one because I had concerns about the life of the rechargeable battery as they often blow. It seems solidly constructed and looks pretty cool once you peel off the 'Pyle Pro' stickers. I don't know what those complaining expected for $40 but in my opinion the quality is exceptional for that price. I foresee many years of irritating everyone around me with my Pyle-Pro megaphone.

professional bull horn...no one ignores me now ! great battery life and many features...got a usb port u can blast music at the party...it is well made and solid...great for pep rally or if u need to get the cows into the barn

Does not work with the batteries alone.I read a few reviews online also with other concerns.

I use this item for work, and I can tell you, people know that I am on my way even if I am still far away! It is great, with good quality, it has traveled transatlantic several times and it’s still in great shape! I love that it is pretty light weight. The sound is good and the material is great for the price, definitely recommend

i'm a 19 year old college student living in Ireland and when I read about one being used by Tucker Max at a college event, i HAD to have one. Extremely pleased with this UK version of his. VERY loud, comes with a beautiful siren and even better, AN MP3 PORT TO PLAY YOUR MUSIC :D Volume control, switches to control automatic or non-automatic talk...strap..she has everything. I had great fun with it. So much fun that our Landlady had to come over and give somewhat of a raging speech in our kitchen while we were eating :/ To correct that above...i still* am* having great fun with it. Its well able to take a beating from use and i just really really love this toy that i bought.1 I'd recommend to all college students (not in Ireland - cuz you know, then id have competition lol) or anyone who is looking for genuine fire power at a rally or event ! :) 5 star, top class yoke
