Pokemon TCG: Random Cards from Every Series, 50 Cards in Each Lot

My go to Pokémon card buy. Can’t get any in the stores near me due to scalpers so I have to buy them here. I do like that it’s completely random on which gens you’re getting. I do sometimes get repeats but not as bad as getting store packs. There’s a few trainer or energy cards but it’s to a minimum which is nice. Sadly one time I got a few cards that had some solid gunk on it that I had to scrape off but that was only one time and is worth the price of how many cards you get.

Cards came in good condition, very nice selection of cards, I was very happy with my purchase, definitely worth the money, & I would buy from them again.

Update I ordered another set for Christmas. .. Nov. 13, 2024... I'm still very pleased. This set I got a handful of cards over 100pts. Also 8 trainer cards, she doesn't have any of those so a major plus. Only 2 sets of duplicates, one with 3 same and other 2 same. Can't beat $4(caught on sale) for 50 pokemon cards only 5 as duplicates. I'll continue to buy. I was very sceptical about purchasing this item because of the other reviews. I was extremely worried there'll be several duplicates. I would say they have stepped up their game. As you can see in my picture, there's only duplicates of the energy cards. I do not know much about the pokemon playing cards. I bought this as a birthday gift for my soon to be eight year old daughter, to add with her collection of McDonald Pokémon cards. As I said, I don't know much about these cards. But, my son did point out that none of the cards are over a hundred points, whatever that means. Other than that, fifty cards for 5 dollars, to put a smile on a child's face is worth it. I probably will be buying another stack for christmas or valentine cards. Mint condition, I didn't see any damage to the appearance of the cards, and they were sealed very tightly.

If you're buying these hoping to open the package and discover that somebody accidentally slipped a grail into a six-dollar assortment, I'm going to save you the suspense: that isn't what this is. What you're getting is basically a stack of inexpensive Pokémon cards that somebody else has already sorted through, and as long as you go into it understanding that, I think the product is perfectly fine for what it costs. The first thing that stood out to me was the packaging—or more accurately, the lack of original Pokémon packaging. Mine arrived as a stack of cards inside a plain white plastic package labeled "Pokemon Assorted Cards 50 Pieces." There are no sealed Pokémon booster packs, no factory box, no Pokémon-branded wrapping and certainly none of that little rush you get from cracking open a fresh pack and wondering what might be hiding inside. That tells you pretty quickly what you're dealing with here. These are loose cards that have already been opened and assembled into an assortment. My impression is essentially that somebody went through a larger collection, kept what they wanted, bundled up the leftovers and is selling them for about six bucks. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, but I think buyers should understand the difference because "50 assorted Pokémon cards" can sound a little more exciting than the package that actually arrives at your door. As for the cards themselves, there were a LOT of repeats in my assortment. If your goal is to get 50 different Pokémon cards and immediately fill a bunch of unique spots in a binder, temper those expectations. You're getting 50 cards, but that definitely doesn't mean 50 unique cards. And no, I didn't find any grails. Not one. No jaw-dropping card that had me running to check recent sales. No card that suddenly paid for the entire order 20 times over. No "Wait...did they seriously put THIS in here?" moment. Nothing that made me start searching for my nearest PSA submission center. But really, for six dollars, should anyone expect that? That's why I don't think this deserves a bad review. You simply have to buy it for the right reason. Where I think this assortment makes a lot of sense is as a starter collection for a kid. Imagine a child who has recently discovered Pokémon, sees other kids carrying binders around, and wants some cards of their own. For roughly six bucks, you can hand them a stack of 50 cards and give them something to sort, organize, trade and put into binder pages. Suddenly they have the beginnings of their own collection without you spending $30, $50 or $100 getting them started. I also think these would make a fun little birthday gift or birthday-party add-on. Throw the cards in with a Pokémon binder or some sleeves and you've got an inexpensive gift that a young Pokémon fan could have a blast going through. A kid who isn't concerned about market values, grading populations, chase cards and investment potential isn't necessarily going to care that the same Pokémon appears more than once. They're probably just going to see a big stack of Pokémon cards. That's where this product works. For collectors, however, I would look at it very differently. If you've been collecting for a while and you're hunting rare cards, vintage treasures, valuable holos, illustration rares, full arts or anything remotely resembling a grail, this isn't where I'd spend my money. I would much rather put that six dollars toward a sealed booster pack where at least I'm getting factory-sealed cards with the normal randomized odds of that particular set. With this assortment, somebody has already had the opportunity to see the cards before you. That's an important distinction. So my recommendation comes down to this: buy the cards, not the dream. You're paying around six dollars for 50 loose Pokémon cards. That's roughly twelve cents per card, so from a pure quantity standpoint it's difficult to get too upset about what arrives. Mine had plenty of repeats and nothing particularly valuable, but I still received a substantial little stack of cards for very little money. Would I buy this expecting to expand a serious collection? No. Would I buy it hoping to score a grail? Absolutely not. Would I hand one to a kid who's just discovering Pokémon and say, "Here you go—this is the beginning of your collection"? Absolutely. That's exactly where I think this assortment belongs. Just understand what you're buying before you hit the order button. These aren't unopened Pokémon packs and they don't arrive in original Pokémon packaging. They're previously opened, assorted cards bundled together and resold inexpensively. Keep your expectations in that neighborhood and there's some fun to be had here. If you're hunting treasure, keep hunting. If you just want to put 50 Pokémon cards into a kid's hands for about six bucks, this gets the job done.

Exactly as described. I ordered 2 and only got 4 or 5 duplicates across both. No damaged cards. Minimal energy and trainer cards, mostly mons. No holos, but I did not expect any for the price. I think I got cards from 8 or 9 different sets, all 2022 and later. Worth the price for sure.

I’ve bought this product 5 separate times over the past year or so, and have had very mixed results. The first few orders were mostly Pokémon cards with a few Trainer cards mixed in, and a couple of duplicates, which is the expected product for me. However, the previous time I ordered this it was mostly Trainer cards and several duplicates, and this most recent order was ALL trainer cards with MANY duplicates! It still gets 3 stars because it technically matches the item description and my earlier orders were a good deal. But if I wanted all Trainer cards, I’d specifically buy an item that was listed as being all Trainer cards. So I recommend checking the rating of the listed seller and making sure it’s from a good one.

No duplicates! Great purchase

We have purchased these 50 assorted Pokemon cards several times and we have always been impressed. Our kids just collect them, so they get excited over any Pokemon. There have been a few duplicated cards every time we have ordered BUT this most recent time was very disappointing. We received zero energy cards, and received only 4 different type of Pokemon (and the rest were just duplicates of those 4 Pokemon). Highly disappointed in this single order, but I guess that’s what you get when you order “assorted”. I’m still giving this product 4 out of 5 stars, because out of the several times we’ve ordered and been very satisfied there was this one order that was VERY disappointing. Just be cautious that there is a risk when ordering.

It is just wow I got 2 rares [kleavor kleavor v) I just bought it again and it was excellent I got so many rares more then two so many were real great for starters who want rare cards I recommend it

Seller was S tier Games ⭐️ Very very satisfied with my 50-card haul. I got 1 double holo rare, 3 holo rares, and 46 other cards that had: no doubles, no energies, and no trainers! The deck was even organized by type AND in order of evolution progression (nearly all the cards came with their subsequent evolutions!!)—talk about attention to detail! 😮 I asked the seller if they hand pick the cards or if they are made by a 3rd party & sent out—they said they DO hand select the cards. This is probably why I got a great little haul & others (from other sellers) have mixed/poor results. They ship from Vancouver, BC. Order came nicely packaged with a hand signed note—cards were very very slightly bowed but I don’t really care since they will flatten over time with weight on them. Though a lot of the cards are basic/common, I wasn’t expecting too much considering it’s an “assortment” for approx. 10$ and bc of other reviews. I was pleasantly surprised though! Would buy again 😃
