Great gift and good quality

Firstly I like that these are kiddy friendly but actually work. We had some other toy ones that didn't work in the same room as each other. We took them camping this year so that my little one could take one on her scooter so we could keep in touch. It was the first year we let her go around the campsite without supervision so these came in really handy. She had one, we had one and so it was fun, if she made friends with anyone else, they could have one too and keep in touch. The distance for transmission was surprisingly good. It kept clear for a good 300m with trees as the only real interface. This gave us peace of mind when it came to where she was. My only real issue was the build quality. After a drop of only a few feet, one of them started to play up with the press to talk button. This was the one we had so it was ok for us to use but would have been trick for younger fingers to press to make work. The product packaging was good and well presented. 3 wrist ropes came with the walkie talkies too. Batteries were not included. They take AAA batteries. I purchased rechargeable one but you can't charge them through the walkie talkie itself.

We bought these walkie-talkies last summer to use when playing outside with the kids or on a long outdoor trip. They are easy to use; even my little kid who was 5 could use his walkie-talkie easily. - These walkie-talkies are compact with belt clips and lanyard holes, so they should be secured in your hand. - You can change the channel and sub-channel. - They have a built-in flashlight. - The range is not as claimed which is understood as they usually report the best range in theoretical optimal operating conditions. However, the actual range considering our use case, was reasonable. - The battery consumption is not the best. - Price-wise, I got this item for around £24 which is cheaper than buying 2 Pack from other sellers on Amazon. Final verdict: buy it :)

These work so well. Really happy with the range and quality

Good product, seems to be well built, good sound quality BUT!!! The information in the description is wrong. Listed as having 3 mile range but says 3 kilometres on box. In built up areas we tested range and found it to be 0.4-0.5 of a mile. Still have to test in large open park to see if it’s any better. For the price, it’s still ok and our 5 year old likes it.

My kids love these they work really well and for a long distance I'd highly recommend them.
