She loves them!
Walmart stopped carrying these, and I was lucky to find them on Amazon. Kytté is prone to hairballs, so I give her 2 of these every day in addition to Meow Mix dry food for hairball control. She is 2 years old, and she has been having these over a year, with no further evidence of having hairballs. AND...she really likes them a lot! 😀

Works well
A dollar cheaper than Walmart .I use them a little more frequently than it says on the package, I get best results with 4 chews every other day. That's only for summer shedding season though.

One of the Only Hairball Treats Still on the Market
My cat is very particular about what he will eat. He used to enjoy the Temptation Hairball Treats, and I purchased those until they changed the formulation, and are no longer available. Although the package says they are soft, to me that seem rather firm. They are not at all crunchy, so if your cat prefers crunchy treats, these won't do. My cat will eat them, but only when there are no other treats available. I usually put only 5 of them in his treat bowl at a time, and refill them after about a week, when he's eaten them. These are much more expensive than the treats I'm used to buying, so I only purchased 1 bag.

My cats don't even think these treats are food
I never read reviews for cat food or treats. You know why? Because cats don't write them. So when Karen from Michigan writes "my cat didn't like this food, 1 star!" it tells me absolutely nothing about the quality of the food. All it tells me is some lady got mad her cat didn't like a particular can of cat food.Though I have purchased countless cat products over the years, I have never written a review for one before. I am not a cat and therefore not the target audience for these products. All that matters is whether my cats like something, and they have better things to do than dictate product reviews for me to type. However, I felt compelled to leave a review for these treats because my cats literally do not even think they are food. (And I'm not using "literally" figuratively. I'm using "literally" literally.)They come running when I open the bag. When I place the treats in front of them, my cats will give them a cursory sniff, then look up at me expectantly, because they know treats are coming. I draw their attention to the treats. They ignore the treats. Or they think the treats are a toy, and they start batting them around. They are disappointed, confused. Wondering if they've done something wrong. But I still wanted to give these treats a chance. I went so far as to moisten the treats and mix them into my cats' wet food. You wanna know what happened? I found the treats, wholly untouched either left in the bowl or lying on the floor. My cats are so bewildered by this treat they don't even consider it edible and will actually remove it from their food dishes. My two cats are probably the least picky of any cat I've seen when it comes to food. Sure they have preferences. But they will eat any brand or flavor of wet food and even dry food. They're also very skilled pest hunters. Over the years, I've found half-eaten carcasses of many a cricket or water bug that had been toyed to death by my boys.Given all this, I can confidently and unequivocally state that this is a one star product, not even considered edible by its intended audience.

Cat is happy with the flavor and So far no hairballs!
I'm glad I got this item for my cat's health because her fur is very thick and I'm hoping it will prevent her having her little throw-ups sessions. She usually likes to cover it up with plastic bags underneath the bed and it's an unpleasant surprise so I'm hoping this will prevent this in the future! They smell like about what you expect a cat treat to smell like very chickeny and my cat really loves them and has asked for them a couple times. The correct dose is five treats for two or three times per week according to the package and this might help you if you're trying to train your cat for other things. So hey! They are very easy to give to your cat and I'm hoping the quality is high so that it works. I'll come back if it doesn't but let's just say my cat hasn't had a hairball this week. Not sure if she was due for one but so far it looks like the functionality of these hairball treat Plus by Hartz work well! So far so good and keeping my paws crossed! LOL

Not soft
These are not soft. I cut them up and mixed with wet food and he ate it. Didn't like them on their own.

Works great and cat likes them!
I have been using these treats with my long haired orange cat for about three years. He loves these treats. I usually give him a few at dinner time on top of his kibble along with a couple of Greenies and a couple of Temptations. He gobbles them up. With his long haired orange cat, he previously had a lot of hairballs. This was difficult for him and gross for me to clean up. These treats have drastically cut down on hairballs. We have gone from 1-2 per week down to 1-2 per Spring season. I highly recommend. Some folks have said these are hard. I do experience this once the package has been opened for a while but unless you have a cat with teeth issues they should be able to chew them up ok.

My cats gotcsick on them
My cats wouldn’t eat them and when they did at first they threw it up and wouldn’t eat it again ! They looked at it and walked away. I have very smart cats ! Crap like all Hartz products. I should have known better!
