Fluval 207 Perfomance Canister Filter for Aquariums up to 45 Gallons

Damn! That's all I pretty much I have to say about this beast of a filter. I put it on my 55 gallon tank and it keeps it crystal clear. Thank you Fluval for the amazing product. Definitely worth buying. Very easy to set up, very quiet, and my fish love the strong current!

The Fluval 107 Performance Canister Filter has been an outstanding upgrade for my aquarium setup. I use it on a tank under 30 gallons, and the difference in water clarity and overall tank health was noticeable almost immediately. Installation was straightforward thanks to the clear instructions and well-designed components. Once set up, the filter runs extremely quiet — I barely notice it’s on, which is perfect for a living room or bedroom aquarium. What really stands out is the strong yet gentle filtration. The multi-stage system keeps the water crystal clear while maintaining great circulation without stressing fish or plants. Maintenance is also much easier than I expected. Prouduct is as described. Cheaper brands are available however you don't want to take that chance. Product performs well and better that advertised. It's is very esthetically pleasing in my setup and is consealed very nicely. It cleaned out my tank in under 2 hrs this is for a 50 gal tank. Waterflow and pressure is perfect. Setup and installation is very straight forward and easy.

I have had ongoing issues with the 407 model. I purchased my first 407 February of 2020. Since that time I have had to replace the motor head 4 times. A few times I had to replace it urgently and just bought the filter again entirely. My newest motor head is number 5! Having had an older Fluval model for years it seems like a significant defect. I have recently identified that the fail point is the same each time. The impeller cover does not properly engage. This took me years to figure out why the 407 would just stop filtering properly. For some reason the impeller cover disengages with the water pressure during filter operation. When cleaning and clipping in impeller cover, it clicks and seems to engage but can’t stay engaged properly. Improper sealing makes filtration completely ineffective. A few times I noticed the tiny plastic clips in motor head were damaged over time and I thought this was the cause (pictured) but my newest one, same problem and no damage. It literally did not work from DAY ONE. I have spent hundreds maybe thousands of dollars on new parts, and over and over this filter fails. I recently tried fixing seal with PTFE tape and that also did not fix the issue! I can’t believe that I am the only one with these issues!? Either it’s a significant flaw in the design of this model or I just have the worst filter luck ever! I have a turtle that I’ve had 15+ years. I’ve owned nothing but Fluval filters since day one. I have been happy with them up until the 407. UPDATE: Rolf C. Hagen (USA) Corp. also has terrible customer service! When I finally wrote this review I reached out to Fluval and said that my 5th motor head failed. I bought from Fluval Aquatics direct - Motor Head for 407 - $84.99 - Motor Head Maintenance Kit for 407 - $32.99 - Intake/Output Kit for 307/407 - $41.99 With tax and shipping I spent another $176 on 11/17/24. I emailed them 12/24/24 to say I’d like to return these parts and this was their reply: Dear [Customer], We thank you for taking the time to contact us. This unit arrived quickly. My local pet store did not have this model is stock. The only issue I had was the medium in unit is not the standard I am use to from Fluval. The carbon pouches were 1/2 the pouch I order for this unit and the filters look to be second market stuff. Luckly I have backups for this unit and applied them instead. Overall Its the unit I wanted and I am happy with it. The noise is non-existent, Set up was very easy. cost of unit is as expected, accessories were not as expected, aftermarket in my option

Great canister. Easy to put together, great for my 10 gallon tank. Flow is adjustable, easy to assemble and understand function of things. Priming is simple, no refill of canister. It’s impossible to put it back together wrong. They thought of everything.

Tek kelime ile canavar. 500lt akvaryumum icin aldım debisi ciddi yüksek. Akvaryumdan iç filtre dalga motoru ne varsa çıkardım. Tek başına her şeyi yapıyor. Boyutlarıda gayet makul .Ve çokta sessiz çalışıyor. Kalite tesadüf değil kesinlikle parasını hakediyor

Works very good in my 125L aquarium was good value for money

Opened setup and running in about 30 mins......more than pleased with the quality and out flow of water its powerfull.......finally upgraded from the Fluval Ac 70 and Ac110 and its best investment ive made for my aqaurium. Yes it does look like that some parts may break easily from wear and tare however....if your careful take your time dont force things I'm sure theyll last longer than others who have stated that they break to easily....just be as gentle as possible and patient and never maintain it on a busy day keep a free day aside so you don't have to rush and mess something up lol otherwise its an amazingly powerful filter
