ExpertPower EXP1290, 12V 9AH SLA AGM Rechargeable 12V Battery Backup

My APC UPS-900 surge protector and battery backup has worked reliably for about 5 years, which is right in line with the typical 3–5 year battery life expectancy for units like this. It has kept my PC, modem, and router running through short outages, and also provides protection for sensitive electronics during surges. In longer outages, it has even powered a cordless phone and VOIP system for overnight operation. Recently, I noticed the backup time had dropped significantly—down to only a few minutes—indicating the battery was at end of life. I was initially unsure about replacing the battery myself, but the process turned out to be very straightforward. After installation, the unit is operating like new again. For a fraction of the cost of replacing the entire UPS, this was a very cost-effective repair. Given how simple the swap was and how well it restored performance, I would absolutely recommend replacing the battery rather than replacing the whole unit if you encounter similar symptoms.

Got this to replace the battery in my very old Cyber Power 850VA. It took about 10 mins to pull the old battery out and plug in the new one. Plugged everything back in, turned the UPS on and ran the self test in the CP software utility. Success! UPS working perfectly with the new battery.

This worked and fixed my older CyberPower CP850AVRLCD UPS. The previous battery died (measured 1.8V), and after hitting the power button, the UPS would turn on, the LCD would light up briefly, and then it would power off after just a few seconds. Replacement was easy, remove four screws on the bottom plate, slide the old battery out, unplug the terminals and reverse the process with the new one. Seems to be working fine now for much less than replacing the entire unit. I use the UPS primarily for brown-outs and flickering power so I cannot comment on how long it stays on during a full outage.

This battery fit my lobster tennis ball machine perfectly. It fit the terminals, they are F-2 size. The battery took the charge with no issues. I highly recommend this battery.

This battery was used in a gas scooter for starting. It is now a year old and the starter barely turned. The battery voltage looked good but fell to 9V under load, so I bought a new (different) battery. However, it did no better, so the battery wasn't the problem. I have hads a lot of batteries like this one fail a lot sooner, so I am happy with this battery manufacturer and would recommend them.

Can't beat it for the price. Replaced a pricey seadoo underwater scooter battery. Lasts a lot longer than the old one. Seadoo says you need a special battery or risk explosion....this looked identical to the factory one. Save your money

Excellent replacement for CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD UPS batteries. Much cheaper and exactly the same as the OEM brand. They are hefty and well made. Taking out and replacing the batteries in the right configuration is super easy. Closing the dumb housing can be tricky due to the heavy gauge wires, but that's the quality you expect. Hoping these last 12 years like the original set.

This is working well in my APC UPS battery backup unit. The size and connectors are perfect.
