It's not perfect, but it's paraben free!
It's hard to find good mascara that's paraben-free. Paraben-free is a very good thing. This mascara makes my lashes look long, long, long, especially with a second coat. As to the running thing? I don't find this any worse than any other mascara. Plus it washes off easily, which is also good if you have 63 year old skin and don't want any more wrinkles than you have to have! If you want run-free, try this line's waterproof. It's REALLY waterproof! I'm also prone to allergies and my eyes suffer the most. This doesn't bring on eye-burning from allergies. It doesn't flake into your eyes. It doesn't cost $20. I'll keep using it for all these reasons.

pretty long lashes but it smudges
I thought I would try this after Neutrogena discontinued their clean lash tint.It smudges like the rest of them. I bought the Carbon Black 01 non waterproof mascara and had been using l'oreal beauty tubes because it cleaned up nice but looked like crap. My eyes had no remanence of any kind of black mascara residue. I applied the healthy lengths mascara on clean lashes to top lashes only. Looked wonderful, long, thick, and black as could be. As the day went on I started to get a little black under my bottom lashes. I showered and washed my face as usual. I walked out and had every bit of the mascara smudged under my eyes. I had to use soap and water on q-tips to get them off. I'm going to give it another shot but its already smudging for the day.I gave 3 stars because obviously some people will not have as many issues with the clean up and smudgyness. but it made my lashes pretty. If you have any issue with racoon eyes by the end of the day with others, this will probably do the same.

As good as it gets
I won't buy department store mascara, but I've tried almost all other types. My old go-to was the Cover Girl LastBlast. I tried this because it was Amazon Prime + subscribe and save, so I figured it was worth the gamble.Yes, it has a gross smell. Yes, it runs REALLY easily. If either of those are deal breakers for you, I'd look elsewhere. However, it has a great no clump brush (I hate clumps) and it makes my super fair lashes long and black. It's not really thickening, but it doesn't say it is. The dark black length is just so classic and simple, so I love it.It may be my new go-to.

Just an old tube?
Bought this online so I didn't have to buy it at Walmart. Dried out in a month. Pretty crispy lashes. Mascara is supposed to be used for 3 months. Didn't check the date on the tube before throwing away.

Love it!
My favorite mascara, it isn't too much product when first opened, like the color brown for me who has blond facial hair and the product name is a good one. It is truly hypoallergenic like it says; one has to know how sensitive I am to many products yet this one is what it advertises. I use this line and have for many years.

Neutrogena healthy lengths mascara
They stopped selling it at the store and I was so upset. It is the only mascara that keeps your eyelashesflawless and when lashes fall out they seem to help renew the growth of new ones to take their place.I love it.

worst mascara I've ever used
I tried the brown version of Neutrogena Healthy Lengths mascara. I first noticed that the wand was extremely cheaply made. When applying the mascara, it is impossible to keep it from clumping. Flaky ugly lashes-yuck. I usually use an expensive brand mascara and I will be going back to it.This is the first time I've actually thrown out a mascara before its time.
