Quick and easy felt sealer
I had developed a leak along the join in my shed roof where the clout nails hold the edge at the overlap. Rather than redoing the whole roof again as it had only been done six months prior I decided to try a sealer. It has been applied now for about six months and we have had some pretty horrendous wind and rain during this time but there is absolutely no sign of any leakage in the area of the joint anymore. Simple to apply with just a brush straight into the felt and job done. Definitely does what it says on the tin. First class product imo.

Good product -- but not the one I ordered!
I ordered FeltSeal black, but you sent LeakSeal clear. As it happens, that was also fine for what I needed, so it wasn't an issue for me. The clear version seems to be working fine -- I'm using it to repair some damage to a felt roof -- two small holes (around 3 cm) which were made by flying debris during a recent storm. The stuff went on easily, I used two applications to be sure, and ran the first one under the felt to help seal it. My only comment was that it seemed to remain unset for a long time -- it was still malleable two days later. Hopefully it will eventually set, and as long as it keeps sealing I'm OK with that!

it is much cheaper than having a new roof
We have used polar felt seal before. It is very easy to use and does the job

Seems watertight so far
Used on summerhouse roof to seal joints after a bit of leakage in extremely wet weather. Easy to apply and seems to now be watertight so would recommend.

Effective and easy to use
The felt roof on our lean-to conservatory was badly worn and caused major leaks indoors. A roofing expert told me the central cracks were too deep to repair, but I went ahead and tried it anyway. I opted for the 2.5-litre tin of Polar Premium, which was easily enough to fill all the deep cracks and then cover the entire surface of the roof. The consistency is thick and tar-like, but remains very easy to apply using any heavy-duty brush. I recommend getting several cheap ones and throwing them away after use as they will be almost impossible to clean. The substance has a relatively strong smell but is not too bad outdoors. It dries quite quickly, creating a rubberised waterproof film. I was delighted this product appears to have remedied all our major leaks after one easy application.

Stir well (with a cement mixer)
I know it says to mix well before use, but youโll need a cement mixer to churn this stuff up to be useful. The 1ltr tin I had must have had an inch of settled product at the bottom. Just about got the job done but with this at the bottom of the tin, how effective is the coating going to be?

Fixing shed felt roof leaks with Polar sealant.
I found the felt seal by Polar spreads on much better and is more searching in warm weather. As expected I suppose. Definitely use protective gloves and some form of mask. The fumes are quite strong. Touch dry in an hour. Gave two coats around felt securing tacks. Seems good to go, just need the inevitable rains to arrive to see the leaks are gone. Confident.
