Used on my Umarex .22 MP5
This thing is awesome. Really well priced compared to what H&K wants for one on their site. Zero issues with it. Fits great and my Romeo5 works great on there. Great purchase.

purchased for airsoft use
I purchased this for use with my VFC Elite Force MP5 A4. Mounts perfectly and I'm now able to use whatever optics I want to on my MP5. The rail mount is full metal but I'm not sure if this is chinesium or pot metal so I wouldn't be too comfortable to put this on a 9mm MP5, but if you have one of those, you'd have enough money for a real mount.

Worthless on a G3 in .308
This may work on a lighter recoiling caliber rifle but not on a G3 in .308. A friend has such a rifle and given the price of this mount we thought what the heck, let's give it a try. You can take about five shots before the recoil slides this forward and then the scope/mount are laying sideways. Tried thread locker a second time just in case it was getting lose from the screws but no go, same thing happened where it slid forward. Worse yet, on this second try, one of the claws actually broke. The Chinese metallurgy is absolute crap on the steel claws. It may be tempting to try but don't bother buying if you've got a .308.

Fits great just can't tighten the clamps
2 of the 4 screw retaining the clamps are not tightly down the clamps. So ended up useless

Decent for $12ish.
This mount is a Chinese copy of the $100 version you can get on hkparts. It works fine and clamps down tight....just use some Loctite and don't over torque the screws. Metal isn't the highest quality but what do you expect for the money. It'd be a shame to dishonor an actual HK MP5 with this knockoff but for $12ish dollars it'll work for my intended application.

Great design but with flaws
I have tried several mp5 mounts for my ics mp5 airsoft but found a lot of them don’t fit but this one was a good design but few flaws. One of it is that screws strip easy as it was not tapped well. Then the rail don’t fit picatinny rail system.

Fits my 91 like a glove
Solid, short Pic rail for HK's. I thought about taking off a star because for some reason the mounting claws came looking kinda beat up, but you can clearly see this in all the photos on the Amazon page. Also, I don't care.
