Exactly what I needed for my old trusty rifle. Works great.

Butler Creek caps are great. I have them one of my rifles for 33 years. I put them on and haven't fussed with them since and that is a rile I've dragged to Alaska for Moose, Montana for Elk, Canada for Caribou and is my prime deer hunting rifle every year. However, Leupold started threading the inside of they're scope bells to allow fitment of they're own proprietary caps (screw in and magnetic), so I've not had the need to buy another pair of Butler Creek caps until recently. I mounted an old Leupold (I've owned for years, but never mounted) on a new rifle. I bought these caps (this one for the eye piece and a non-thumb operated one for the objective) to protect the lenses. They fit like a glove and open with the flick of a finger. They seal out the moisture and dust, which keeps your scope clear when in the field. Note I used the size chart and since my dimensions didn't fall exactly on an available size, I order the next size down.

I ordered this for my dads rifle. I would have given it a 5 star, but it's my fault I the wrong size for his scope. I've decided to keep it for my brother instead other than that I like it and plan on purchasing more in the future. Thanks

Fits my scope perfectly. Goes in and out of the case easily. I like no having to take my scope covers off and the losing them.

They work better on my Vortex Crossfire HD 3x9 than the Vortex Brand (That I have on the Crossfire HD 4x12) Butler Creek caps for me from now on

Seems to be just right for the job but s*** myself when it did not fit. The materials is a little stiff and the outer circumference of the cap was the same as the scope. It is a snug fit in this case so you might feel a bit better if you take the next size up or soften the cap in warm water but it does go on with a little patients. As it takes a while for it to come through I would suggest going for the next size up and at least you can shim it up with tape. From the manufactures a softer more pliable material would be better for greater expansion. And to make it easier. The sizing chart for me was a little confusing the best way would be to measure the scope outer circumference and the Chart should show the inner circumference.

Great product, although I miss measured the scope and ordered the wrong size, the material the caps are made from is very sturdy and has a nice finish! I am currently waiting for a response from the customer services about getting the next size or two up sent out.
