Great work boots
These are hands-down, the most comfortable work boots I’ve had to date good quality seemed to last a long time and easy to get on and off. These are my go to. They’re super light also compared to other boots I’ve had which is really nice. The design of the tread makes them incredibly grippy on expanded steel grip surfaces, and steps.

Very nice, high quality desert/hiking/work boots
These are EXACTLY the boots that I was wanting to get for a couple of years now. The color is the exact color that I wanted, not too light, not too dark. I have almost this exact boot, except the other one I have was made by Converse and is sage green, but they were bought out by Reebok. Now, I can see that the quality has not changed, and the only difference now is the brand name: Reebok (now) vs Converse. I was worried at first that I had ordered the wrong width (wide), because my converse model is a 10 (M), and that one fits just right. But when I tried these on, they fit perfectly, just a tiny bit on the loose side, but that's fine, because it allows for better air circulation. As other reviewers have noted, the tongue of the shoe is just a little too thick, but otherwise that is the only drawback that I can tell. Another reviewer suggested that the zipper be placed more to the front, but I've had no problem getting the boots on with the zipper's current location. I very rarely get compliments while wearing boots/shoes, but I have received compliments on these. I cannot vouch for the durability of these boots as of yet, and so will edit my review in a year's time. Pros: *Aggressive styling *High quality, smooth, nubuck leather *Soles designed for grip on slippery surfaces *Composite toe protection (not steel), which makes this boot airport friendly as it says on the tag *Easy to put on and take off due to the location of the zipper *Very comfortable to wear for long periods *Stiffness of the boots enhances ankle support making this great for hiking *High quality FLAT laces - keeps the laces from being untied unlike other boots with round laces, so I'm not constantly having to tie my boots over and over again Cons: *Tongue of boot is a bit large, especially at the top of the boot *Fits slightly large *Very Stiff, Takes a good period of breaking in - almost like wearing a ski boot *Could have a little better cusioning If these boots are as good as my Converse ones, then I would definitely buy again. But we will see how well these hold up in a year's time.

Comfortable Tactical Boots at a Reasonable Price
I didn't pay attention that I was ordering the safety-toe version of this boot. I would NOT have chosen that because I don't really need it. They have a composite-toe construction, not steel toe. This is not my first pair of safety toe boots so I understand that they don't flex as well as the non safety models. That makes them a little stiff. Also, the pull loop is a little small for my finger to easily slip into when I need a little help pulling on my boots. Otherwise, I am very happy with these boots in the first month of wear. I have been wearing them for a few hours a day, slowly breaking them in. The boots are not waterproof but I ALWAYS spray waterproofing on my fabric and suede shoes and boots before wearing them. Also, the weatherproofing helps to keep them clean. So far, the traction seems good but I have not tried them while on a wet, slick floor. I will never buy another pair of tactical, hunting, or work boots with lots of padding without the zipper. I also have a pair of UnderArmor tactical boots with the zip side but these are superior. The zipper works great and there is a leather tab with velcro strip to cover the zipper at its highest point. I may add pictures of the insole and the foot bed later. The Reebok website describes the boots as follows: "The EVA midsole, embedded Shock Eliminator heel cushion, and Foot Force® F2A footbed work together to provide all-day cushioning and comfort." I cannot argue with that. I was pleasantly surprised about the heel cushion and the footbed cushioning. Overall, I think the boot is a good looking boot that goes well with khaki shorts and long pants. I would have preferred a little darker khaki, but for the most part these are some good looking boots. Just remember to condition them with suede cleaner and conditioner from time to time and of course, spray them with several coats of waterproofing.

Workday Warriors for Happy Feet
Workday Warriors for Happy Feet Finding the right work boots feels like a never-ending quest. They're either heavy as lead, pinch in all the wrong places, wear out after a few months, or just generally make you dread putting them on in the morning. My job requires me to be on my feet for long stretches, often in environments where safety is paramount. I needed boots that could stand up to the demands of the workday without leaving my feet screaming by the end of it. After trying a few different brands and styles, I landed on the Reebok Work Duty Rapid Response RB8694, and they've become my workday warriors. From the moment I first laced (or, more accurately, zipped) these up, I knew they were different. They felt surprisingly lightweight for a tactical boot, and the fit was immediately comfortable. The extra-wide composite toe is a lifesaver; it provides the necessary protection without feeling cramped or heavy like traditional steel toes. Knowing they offer electrical hazard protection adds another layer of confidence when I'm on the job. The real game-changer for long hours is the comfort system. The removable Foot Force F2A cushioned insert is fantastic – it provides support and absorbs impact, making a huge difference in reducing fatigue by the end of the day. The combination of durable leather and ballistic nylon for the upper has held up incredibly well to daily wear and tear, and the rubber sole provides excellent traction on various surfaces. And the side zipper? Pure genius. Getting these boots on and off at the start and end of a long shift is quick and easy, saving precious minutes and effort. Once zipped and laced, they feel secure and supportive around my ankles. These boots have significantly improved my comfort and confidence on the job. My feet aren't aching by lunchtime, and I feel well-protected in demanding environments. They've proven to be durable, comfortable, and genuinely responsive to the needs of a long workday. If you're on your feet all day and need a boot that combines safety features, durability, and serious comfort without feeling like you're wearing bricks, give the Reebok Rapid Response a serious look. They're a solid investment in your workday well-being.

TLDR; excellent boot. Lasted me over 3 years of heavy use before zipper broke.
I found these boots from a Project Farm video. I have worn all the main brands but mostly liked Danners. I was looking for an alternative to Danners and this boot fit the bill. These boots lasted me 3 years before the zipper broke on one boot. The overall boot and sole was still in wearable condition. They saw everything from conrete to roofs and dirt to paint. Gasoline, oil, and more. I am coming back to buy another pair. I have had the tan and the black ones. I did not like the material on the black ones as it was too hot and sweat for my taste and it didn't break in as nicely as the tan ones. I wish they offered these in a few more eather colors though.

This is a Great Boot. Look how I fixed the tongue.
I work in a steel fabrication facility, so I am on my feet all day. I do at least 10,000 steps a day in an unforgiving environment. These boots held up for two years. The wide selection fit my feet best and of course I put added arch support insoles, and they've been very comfortable and light weight. The only problem is the tongue. Even if you smoosh it down while putting it on, by the end of the day it will sneak out and you have this ridiculously long tongue sticking out, like your trying to resist the 90's, but in an absurd way. So I got sick of it, and made two tiny incisons into the leather on the top of the tongue. Ref. Picture. Snaked the laces through using a piece of wire tied to the aglet of the lace, and then I never had a boot tongue problem ever again. This is my second pair, and I will forever buy this boot. And you should also know that it is pretty waterproof. I pushed the limits a few times and had a little water get in, but we're talking about like walking through water that is almost over the boot, in a mad dash for the car, and it still did a pretty good job.

1 year update
Original Review: I liked the leather steel toe work boots I had before, but they wore out and I was looking for something lighter. These are incredible. They fit and feel like sneakers but have great support in the bottoms. The only drawback is that they are water proof, a bonus most of the time, but they don’t breathe because of it. One year later: The boots still feel light and fit well but there are durability issues. I probably wore them 6 days a week since purchase. Lot of work, lot of dog walking, lot of shoveling. I thought they were water proof. I was wrong. They get wet easily and take a long time to dry, even when the insoles are out. The crease where my foot bends has seen the seams pop. Finally, the souls have worn out much quicker than I anticipated. They no longer have traction on the backs and have worn through to the under soul in spots. If you need light duty boots that last a year, these are still probably a good call. If you needs something to last, these boots aren't it. It's like Terry Pratchett wrote, "A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that'd still be keeping his feet dry in ten years' time, while a poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet" (from Men at Arms). I'll take my wet feet to a different boot this year.

Comfy
Comfortable, I love the side zip. The only negative thing about these boots is when I get out of my truck, my pant legs have to be adjusted so they’re not behind the tongue. Maybe I need longer pants?

High quality, steel toe
Very good and comfortable,, quality is high, and is a steel toe, I returned it because I couldn't find my size which is 46 wide, I took the available 47.5 and it was too big.

Excellent, rugged lightweight boot for the $
Great lightweight boots, took a day to break in. My feet don’t sweat in them. Side zips are great for coming in and out of the house, and leaving tied up. Soles provide great traction. Will buy them again.
