Probiotic 40 Billion CFU with Organic Prebiotics for Gut Health, 60 Count

First Probiotics that have started helping this quickly. Easy to swallow and effective helping GI issues with bloating and pressure which has been fairly severe. I have not had help this quickly and I have taken several types of probiotics for gut health. I stayed so bloated it hurt to bend over. The last few days I started to feel like my old self and a lot of distension is gone or at least better to the point I have some appetite again and more energy. I have not been taking this very long so I am happy so far with the effectiveness and my improvement. I have had a lot of GI surgery and suffer from autoimmune digestive disease since teens and I am over 65. I have not found too many meds or supplements that made a big difference at all let aline in under 10 days. I will continue taking this and pray things stay this well or even better. I am impressed thus far and hopeful.

Great stuff. I was feeling really gassy. And my digestion wasn't good. And when I started taking this probiotics, my stomach felt much better really fast.

I am pleased with this product. I bought it to replace another probiotic with similar ingredients which was much more expensive. I have not felt any difference in my health, digestion or other areas which probiotics address, so I'd recommend it to those who are looking into taking one to boost their immune system and keep their "gut" healthy.

The product is good but way too big a bottle for the number of pills inside.

I have read up on probiotics, as I have been suffering with stomach issues for the last 3-4 years. I began reading up on probiotics had looked at several different brands. I had bought one of the more “popular” brands without reading the label before purchasing, I experienced terrible stomach cramping, bloating when taking that probiotic, then I discovered the unsavory “ other” ingredients and immediately stopped taking them and threw them away… I continued to hear and read about the benefits of taking a probiotic, the problem was finding one that worked with and for me. After a great deal of time looking through different probiotic brands I decided to try Schwartz. I was particularly drawn to this brand for several reasons: 1. NON GMO ingredients 2. No refrigeration required 3. Gluten free 4. Guaranteed potency 5. Survives stomach acids and bile fluids 6. Made in the USA I have been taking this for about a week now, I take one capsule in the morning and one at night. This probiotic has been a Godsend for me. While I have only been taking this or about a week now, I have had no unpleasant side effects like I did with the other probiotic I had taken, and it has greatly helped, so far, with my usual stomach issues, which was heavy bloating, gas, irregularity… I can’t begin to tell you how much better I feel since taking this probiotic…I only wish I had known about this years ago. I highly recommend Schwartz Bioresearch Probiotic, and I personally will continue to purchase and use this product. Thank you Schwartz Bioresearch, you have helped give me my life back!!! Update: I wanted update my review of this product after having taken it for a longer period of time. I am almost finished with this bottle and still my review of this product is the same. I have had absolutely NO bloating, gas or other unpleasant stomach/digestive issues since taking this probiotic. Anyone looking for a really good probiotic, I would strongly suggest trying this one. I might also add that since taking this probiotic I have had no more issues with heartburn and acid reflux...I just ordered my second bottle.

This stuff is AMAZING and has completely changed my life! I waited until the bottle was finished to write the review, so I had a full month of experience with it. I have had IBS with chronic constipation since I was about 15. So for 10 years I have suffered from this, less often the pain, however, I only "go" about once or twice a week. Never was much of a bother to me, besides taking forever in the restroom, until thanksgiving, when I didnt go for almost 2 weeks. My friend suggested probiotics, so I did my research, and came to this one. The first 4-5 days were pretty bad, between the bloating and the CONSTANT gas (I swear, it was as if there was just a gas leak) that smelled terrible. But after that, the bloating went down, I felt lighter, I looked thinner, I started going every day, and only took about 5 minutes (whereas before, it was more like 30), and sometimes go multiple times a day. I lost a little weight (but then started eating bad again, I really have to get on that...). Also, when I'm usually on my period, I have terrible gas and cramps and I feel like I'm being stabbed, almost every day of it. I'm currently on it now, and have only had those cramps on the first day, and they werent all day. So this stuff is amazing! I only suggest to really pay attention to taking it in the morning and at night (maybe just once a day the first 2 days), because over the holidays, there have been quite a few days that ive forgotten to take it at night, and I can tell a difference. Not too bad a difference, I still go every day, but it takes longer, and when I feel like ive got to go, I cant just go, so I end up going to the bathroom a few times and nothing happening. So try to stay on track!

Great product! Has helped my digesgtion

I'm going to repeat here a complaint/review I've made about one other probiotic product (Ultimate Flora) on Amazon because this product gave me the same itchy, "burning bottom" problem that one did. This time around I conducted a slightly more "scientific" approach: I got off of the product, the burning stopped immediately, and then I got back on it and the burning started up again (within a day), and then got off for the final time (of course!) after which the burning problem once again disappeared. There's some strain both of these companies are using that's causing this in me. I can't be the only one who's experienced this, surely--or maybe I'm one in a million! Anyway, since the companies keep their (what I suppose) proprietary blends secret from us, I can't find the similarities, nor can I actively avoid other brands that use the same, burning strain. Here's the original review: "I've had digestive problems ever since the removal of my gall bladder--the serious, doubled-over cramping kind of problem. Probiotics "saved" my life--they've often reducing cramping to zero. Over the past five years or so I've tried 13 different brands of probiotics from Amazon (not to mention a handful from local stores). So far the most effective has been Multi-Strain by Innovixlabs.
