Neck Gaiter for Men & Women - UPF 50+ Sun Protection, Fishing, Cooling

I have been looking high and low for the right mask/right gaiter that does the job in this time of COVID. I wanted to find something that is comfortable and stays up. The product also needed to be something that my husband and 18-yr old son would also wear. We have had the gaiters for for a weeks now, and this product works perfectly. Some masks had made me claustrophobic. Some other gaiters were made of materials so light they wouldn't stay. THIS GAITER DOES THE TRICK. It is light weight, comfortable to wear, and stays up. I ended up liking it even more than anticipated because we went hiking the other day and I loved the versatility of the gaiter ... sun protection and got my hair off my neck. I can highly recommend.

I like this gaiter for several reasons. As an elderly person, my neck is often chilly, so this tubular neck gaiter, keeps my neck warm, as well as serves as a cover for nose and mouth when pulled up if I'm in a store or am out in public. I bought two, the dark grey, and the camo with different shades of blue, which is ,pretty just as a scarf. However, I prefer the grey because both sides are the same color whereas the inside of the camo is a pale blue. The gaiter does not stay up on your face as well as a conventional cloth mask, but it I like that you can just leave it on your neck, and pull it up when needed without uncomfortable elastic or ties.

This is just what I was looking for. We've been asked to wear masks at work as a result of the Covid19 pandemic and the typical masks with the straps don't seem to agree with me. This fits great and allows me to meet the mask requirement/need without the uncomfortable elastic straps around my ears or head. One thing I wish were a little different is that I could have the gaiter higher up on the back of my head (covering my ears) without it pulling up into my eyes. But that may just be a head shape issue. It's not a show stopper. I still like it.

This is a great, lightweight product and does exactly what you want it to do. In addition to all the features noted in the product description, a side benefit that I love is that I can use it to prevent wind noise in my bone-conducting headset when I'm out walking. If you have such a headset, you know that the smallest amount of wind will prevent you from hearing any audio. I just pull the buff up over my ears and I have a secure covering that prevents wind noise. I have three of these buffs, so you know I love them. Two negative points: - When I wear the buff to cover my nose/mouth only as a pandemic mask, it is just a touch too small and it tends to slide down. I can pull it up higher over my ears to get it to stay in place, but I wish it was tight enough to stay on as a nose/mouth covering only (the only reason I gave it 3 stars for comfort). - The buff has a label inside that states the materials; the label is irritating, but I just cut it off (very minor inconvenience).

The service was great, super quick and clean, easy to open. It is lightweight and very breathable. It just doesn't stay up by itself. I mostly use it riding my bike, so I have a helmet on and that helps. But I want something to cut the glare and sunburn I get driving into the sun during the summer. It seems to help my neck, but not my nose. I look like an alcoholic, but can't drink much anymore! Maybe I don't know how to wrap or fold it as well. Don't let my experience dissuade you if you already use one of these. It is better quality than the first one I bought, which was itchy. Just take it into consideration if you are thin with a tapered face!

Used it yesterday at the gym and definitely could feel a difference. I currently have sun damage on my neck. Should have bought this months ago honestly. It's a nice thin and stretchy fabric. Doesn't feel extremely warm like a scarf would. My favorite color is pink so of course I went with this one. Very nice shade too. Honestly the price is not bad, especially when it comes to your health. You can't put a price on that.

I purchased 2 of these gators for use when I need a face covering during pandemic social distancing. These are great when you are going to be outdoors and just need it for when you pass people nearby...or when you are going quickly into an elevator or store. They are less effective when you need to wear one for longer periods of time. Mine tends to slip down over my nose and I have to rearrange it regularly. For situations when I need to wear a mask for longer periods of time, I prefer an actual face mask that has over-ear ties and a nose strip to keep the mask in place...and glasses from fogging up. My 100% cotton washable masks are also easier to breathe through...but these gators work well for short periods of time. They are also good to keep in the car in case you need one unexpectedly. They are very light weight and would pack well for travel too.

So far so good. Keeps the Sun off of my face. With it being a light color, it doesn’t get so hot.
