I bought this CDI for my 1985 Honda Rebel 250 after chasing a no-spark issue, and I have to say I'm very happy with the results. Installation was straightforward since it plugged directly into the factory connector without any modifications. As soon as I installed it, the bike fired right up and has been running consistently ever since. Throttle response feels smooth, the idle is stable, and I haven't experienced any intermittent misfires or random shutdowns that I was dealing with before. The build quality also seems solid, with a durable housing and connectors that fit securely without feeling loose. If you're troubleshooting an older Rebel and you've already verified your stator, ignition coil, wiring, grounds, and pulse generator, this CDI is definitely worth considering. It's a great replacement for the original unit, especially considering how difficult it can be to find reliable electrical parts for a motorcycle that's over 40 years old. After several rides, it's continued to perform flawlessly, giving me confidence that it wasn't just a temporary fix. Overall, this was an excellent value for the money, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone restoring or maintaining a 1985 Honda Rebel 250.

Worked great. It's the dc version.
Worked great on a yerf dog rover utility. This was the dc version. Make sure you get the right one for your project. Some are dc and some are ac. They don't interchange.

Ac CDI would not get it to fire but the DC CDI did.

Does NOT work with RZR 170.
Did not work with my 2009 razor 170. Tried it back to back with an oem 170 razor cdi. Also disconnected all the safety switches etc and still no luck.

doesn't work on kawasaki klx140g
this does not work on 2020 kawasaki klx 140g I bought this because it was cheap , thought I'd give it a shot because an OEM cdi is $232 from the dealer. this cdi did not produce spark.
