Hanes mens Underwear Boxers Pack, Cool and Breathable Cotton Underwear, Exposed and Comfortflex Waistbands, Multi-pack

Years ago, I discovered knitted boxer shorts at Costco - the Hathaway Sport brand. I really loved those boxers and bought quite a few, but found after about six years of constant washing they started to develop holes - mostly in the crotch area. I never really learn, unfortunately, that when I find something I really love - whether it be shoes or underwear, that I should buy a lifetime supply, because when the time comes to buy more, the product will either be unavailable or will have changed in some significant way. Such is the case with the Hathaway Sport boxers from Costco - they are now a cotton / spandex blend, which I absolutely hate - boxer shorts are meant to be loose, not tight, and the addition of spandex makes them cling and be less breathable.So time to hit Amazon for some replacements - noting that I wanted to spend roughly the same amount per pair of boxers and not significantly more. I found these Hanes Boxers in a 5-pack for a reasonable price, but as sometimes happens on Amazon, there's a conflation of options funneled into the review stream so I could not necessarily be sure I would be getting the 100% pure cotton boxers in solid, not the spandex/cotton blend in heather. Thankfully, I received the solid boxers and they are great. They are a bit thinner than the Hathaway Sport boxers I used to buy, but that's OK, I kind of like thinner. They may not last quite as long but that's also OK, I'm looking for comfort more than durability and these are very comfortable and tagless - I'd rate them more comfortable than the Boxers they are replacing.So these may be my new go-to boxers, so glad I'm not forced into the spandex blends.Pros:• Affordable - barely $3 per pair• Comfortable - breathable %100 cotton, no tag, firm yet light waistband• Colors are classy• Fits exactly as expectedCons:• Due to slightly thinner material, may not be as durable over time as the boxers they are replacing, but that's not a large concern

These are very soft and comfortable! The material feels like a t-shirt. The elastic band is comfortable and I don't notice when ai am wearing them. The quality is good and I have not noticed any fading or shrinking after repeated washes. They fit as expected. They are a really good value, the colors are as I expected them to be. I like these so much I have bought a few more packages since my first purchase.

I've been wearing these boxers for the past decade or so and they are still my go-to choice for comfort. I compared the product I received with an older pair and although the construction is slightly different (more on that in a moment) they are still immensely comfortable. The only reason these get one star deducted is that the stitching on the items I received is a contrasting white thread rather than a color-matching thread, which gives the boxers a less-than-premium appearance. I'm not sure if this is a unique batch or if all of the new product will come with the white stitching, but I was able to find a couple of packages in a local retail store which still have the color-matched stitching, so I've purchased those despite having to spend a few dollars more than I would on Amazon. Interestingly, they have the same construction changes as the items I received from Amazon except that they have color-matched stitching rather than the contrasting stitching.Some notes on the changes in construction of current version vs. older version:PRO: The fly is cut longer, which makes it much more usable. That would have been my only complaint about the old versions, so this is a major "plus."CON: Much of the stitching is done with contrasting white thread, which gives the boxers a "less-than-premium" appearance in my opinion.CON: Material at the top of the boxers where the waistband is sewn on is not trimmed as closely to the seam, which can give the boxers a slightly lumpy/sloppy appearance in the waistband if you look too closely. The good news is that this does not seem to have any negative effect on comfort.OTHER: There are some other minor changes in how the pieces are cut/stitched, but nothing critical enough to write about.

Good quality and last a very long time. Have washed multiple times and shows no signs of wear and tear. They are a looser fit so don’t offer much support, but that’s how it’s supposed to be with these underwear.

Very soft and feel great. I have been losing weight and my current boxers are 3xl and getting a bit loose. I bought these in a 2xl but I find them just as loose in the waist band as my old, larger boxers. I marked them down because of this.

I'm a Hanes fan, it's as simple as that.I don't wear these as daily underwear, but rather they're my go-to sleep shorts. The no-gap fly truly is no-gap. These fit great, they stay put at night, they're just loose enough but still supportive, and they look great on.Super soft fabric, and the covered waistband is comfortable. The waistband does runs a little tight - I don't mind, but take note if that's something you wouldn't personally prefer.I've retired all my other sleep shorts and bought a second package of these boxers because these really are the best.

These are the most comfortable boxer under wear there is with the soft lining in the waist. Love em.
