Very tough useful and durable but they are not correct size to fit the standard alpine spike stick ferrules. I am very pleased with my purchase as I was intending to make my own spike ferrule from an M8 threaded stainless bolt with extra nuts which I screwed into the base or the stick. This worked so extroadinarily well that the resulting ferrule is vastly superior in every way with a much more durable and secure reinforced rubber cap ferrule. Excellant product , very pleased.
