Before the bowling centers closed down due to COVID 19, my jagged edge hybird hooked like carzy. The cover stock is mattie, it's for medium to heavy oil. I'd have to say the hook rating is high. Probably very high for a right hander. I'm left handed, with a swipping hook over the 15 arrow and it would hit the back end and go straight to pocket.

Is this ball made for medium to heavy oil lanes

Yes, my daughter who bowls in college uses it on medium oils.

Can the left handed bowlers use this ball?

Yes.....just get it drilled for a left handed bowler......Simple.... Great Ball !!!
