This is my all time fav anti-rust spray.
This is my all time fav anti-rust spray. Easily paintable when dry by other types of paints. It dries fast. It converts rust from red Fe2O3 to stable black Fe3O4. It has gone from $7 in 2022 to $16 in 2026. It is almost too costly to purchase but there is nothing else that compares.

Works ok. The instructions are not clear so I did it wrong and messed up the area I was trying to fix. May have been a user error which is why I did not give it less stars. A waste of money if you ask me.

Great product. Lousy packaging by Amazon.
This product works pretty much exactly as it says. I've used it before and will use it again. However, I'm very disappointed with the way Amazon packed this, a few cans of it mixed loosely in a box with some other cans of another product, with no rigid dividers to hold the cans in place, just a couple of token pieces of bubble wrap laid on top. The top of the box was split open. The cans were all tilted & akimbo, several now with dents. The spray nozzle on 3 of cans were knocked off and I only managed to find two of them. I'll make do, of course, by just re-using the nozzle from another can after it's used up, but this was really sloppy on the part of Amazon's shipping.

Does the job well
I use this to prevent the spread of rust on our 15 year old odyssey. A little light sanding, spray this stuff and then some “close enough” paint

Works well
I have used this for years on the underside of my vehicles. I have a 1995 camaro any rust appears underneath i spray this let it sit a couple of days then paint. Seems durable never had any returns where treated. Please make sure you shake it well otherwise it doesn't work properly. I found that out.

Worthless
Update: two cans, two friends using the product with same result, non-effective and no conversion of rust. I trusted the brand name, my mistake given the poor outcomes.

Worked Fine - And It's Clear, not Black
Both cans worked fine. It goes on CLEAR. This is the only rust inhibitor/neutralizer I'd buy as all the others go on black and you can't see the status of the rust under them!

rust easy
like most rust converters today the main goal is to speed up the process to get back to paint. loctite make the best products and this is no different . easy to apply even in hard to reach by hand areas
