Quintus et nox horrifica: A Scary Latin Novella (Latin Edition) Paperback – September 22, 2018

This is a really fun story! I appreciated the inventive use of repetition to develop the story while reinforcing vocabulary. As with all of these novellae, the illustrations are a great help.

Using this novella for 6th graders who have had Latin instruction for a year or two already. A word of caution: one of the verbs taught is "to poop". This is not appropriate at our school, but I have marked out that verb and substituted "to cry" instead. It works, but I wish I had known about this prior to purchase. They do like the story though.
