You can reinflate them
Yes, they come vacuum packed and squished and wonky. No, letting them sit for a couple of days doesn't really fix it. But they CAN be brought back to life. Hold it under warm running water for a few seconds while squeezing rapidly. It will quickly return to proper shape, and they dry out very quickly. In the picture, the left is after sitting for a couple of days, the right is after the technique. The plastic isn't super sturdy, but I don't mind that. They work just as well as any other sponge rollers I've used and I definitely do recommend them!

JUNK - DON'T BUY IT. Waste of time to even have to return it.
This is garbage. I returned it as soon as I opened the package. The plastic is so cheap it would never even hold hair, I didn't even try, as soon as I touched it I could tell it was a piece of junk. The foam on the roller is flat and square, not round. It doesn't fluff up to a round roller. It comes in a shrink wrapped plastic that squeezes it down to nothing and that's exactly what you get....nothing. This product shouldn't even be sold. I wasted my time having to return it.

STAYS IN OVERNIGHT, SIZE IS THE FOAM DENSITY
None of the sizes work on layered chin length hair. All sizes are too big and foam too dense for fine hair to wrap around snuggly. Medium Good up to shoulder length hair. If you have longer hair, just wrap your curls as far as the curler will hold, but hair must be damp on the ends. can put your long hair in a topknot scrunchie and then use the sponge rollers from there. You can also make fine limp hair more luminous with this type of curler, Without damaging the hair. This is an excellent quality sponge, but more importantly the clip on the plastic is firm enough to stay put during the night. Yes the product comes vacuum packed. So clever of a manufactured to send it out this way. The bottom of each package has a sticky closure and when you lift that up, all the air goes back into the package and your rollers puff up. Kind of fun to watch that occur. I donโt know what it is about the pink foam that makes a good curler versus black ones, which are a joke. I think itโs because the black ones are made out of recycled something and they just are a joke. Were my comments of help?

Cheap
You get what you pay for. They are a cheap product, and the foam is very flimsy. I got 1.25โ rollers. When I roll my hair, theyโre only about .75โ. The plastic is cheap and bendable. If this is your expectation when you purchase this product, then you will be satisfied with the rollers. Mine came shrink wrapped, and I had to use water to manipulate the sponge to expand to the correct size.

Itโs not for me but, might work for you.
Iโm gave a three star because these things literally got stuck in my hair. Iโm not sure if itโs because maybe my hair was too long, but I was not happy with the product. I thought they would be great as a heartless curler but maybe it is better suited for someone with shorter hair who might have better luck.

The rollers I received were not vacuum packed or smashed. Love them!
I read so many reviews that described these rollers as being vacuum packed and smashed, and that soaking was necessary to get them back in shape. The rollers I received were not vacuum packed, nor were they smashed. They were ready to use when I got them. I have long hair, and previous to buying this set, I bought a set that was .98" in diameter. This was to small for my liking as the curl was too tight. These rollers are a little over 1.5" in diameter and are perfect for me. Previous to getting these rollers, I was curling my hair every day with a rotating curling iron which was drying out the ends of my hair. In addition, the curl wasn't lasting at all - especially with the high humidity of summer. The last few nights, I have been setting my dry hair with these roller just before I go to bed. It takes me about 10 minutes to get all of my hair into the rollers. I don't have any problems rolling my hair, and haven't had any problems with the clips letting loose. These rollers are so soft to sleep on, I haven't had any problems sleeping on them. I don't cover the rollers with anything, and none have them have let loose during the night. I have found them to be very easy to use and comfortable to sleep in. By setting my hair at night before I go to bed, I no longer have to use the curling iron the next day, and the curl actually lasts longer than when using the curling iron. My next test is to spray mist the curlers after I put them into my hair. This may help the curl on the longer hair to last longer the next day. As mentioned above, I have had no problems with having to soak the roller before using them (maybe the packaging has changed). After I take them out of my hair, they are a little scrunched, but I take them out and let them sit until I get dressed. They are all back in shape and ready to be put away when I get dressed. Also, as mentioned, I have had no problems with them holding together or coming loose in the night. UPDATE 06/04/21: As mentioned previously, I have long hair. My hair is very resistant to holding curl. When I was using the curling iron, my hair looked nice when I first did it, but by the time I got from the second floor of my house to the first floor, it was already straightening. Within a half hour, especially with the humidity of the summer, you would never guess I had attempted to curl my hair. For the first couple of times I used these roller, I rolled my hair dry the night before. There was plenty of curl when I first took the curlers out, and the curl did last a few hours on the longest part of my hair. The curl on the top of my head became a looser curl after a couple of hours, but still nice all day. Last night, I spray misted my hair before rolling it so it was slightly damp. For the first time in years, the curl lasted all day and into the evening. I am thrilled. The curl did loosen a bit, but this is so much better than burning my hair with a curling iron or getting a perm that makes me look like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket. Having used these roller for 4 night in a row, I have found they are easy to use, stay in the entire night, and, most importantly, they are extremely comfortable to sleep on. Personally, I am very happy with these curlers, and would recommend them. I hope this review was helpful for you.

Good value--good product
The biggest problem I usually have with sponge rollers is that they won't stay closed once they're clasped. These do. The color is exactly as expected, and the size matches the description perfectly. The sponge is also more resilient than most curlers I've used, so they hold up well. Add in the reasonable price, and these are an excellent value. I had to give them five stars!

The plastic clips are not well made
They arrive compressed no problem, over night they puff up just fine. the foam rollers are as expected. The plastic clip/hold in place part is the big negative. They do not function like the pink ones bought at CVS type locations. the clips keep popping off the part that secures it in place. Any person who has used foam rollers with plastic clip rods knows that you have to be able to roll the hair in place then clip it in place. That is when the clipping "rod" pops off repeatedly! Ridiculous! No excuse for it. Stupid, incompetent, manufacturing of the rods. It is illogical to have a square bracket for a round bracket. I opened them and touched them to my hair so I can't return them. Hence my wanting to warn others to not buy this product. And shame on Amazon for not checking to see if their products are at least of reasonable quality products. I am so disappointed in Amazon!

It's all about technique!
On first use, a couple of the rollers clicked apart but that's honestly because I wasn't being careful. If you practice and take your time, they won't come apart and even if they do it's easy to fix them. Good value for the quality, I would recommend them to anyone trying to achieve heatless curls or waves or even just a bit of extra body if you don't have time to keep in then for very long.

Works!!!
There are unfair negative reviews for these. But look they hair rollers ... They're not an iPhone or a smart TV. They're going to be flimsy. These kind are as flimsy as the authentic ones my Nan had in the 50s. Whether or not they work depends on a few things: The cut of your hair.- my hair is feathered. So you get more volume out of your curls with a textured layer and feather in your hair. (No, layering and feathering are not the same thing- I have both) If you have long straight hair you will curl the ends more than the strands. The hair type - the easiest way to explain this is whether or not you're hair is oily or dry. My hair is dryer than most. So when I wash it it's harder to keep in shape it holds for the morning and drops as the day progresses. So I spritz with a curling serum or hair spray before I put them in. They stay easier the next day without washing. The length of time they're in- just like in the 50s these rollers need to be in for a considerable amount of time. In the bygone days our grannies had them in when their husbands left for work and kept them in until before he's due home. That's a good 9 hours. Today, you might be the one heading out the door to work. So, and this is key, SLEEP IN THEM. Most rollers back then are plastic. For the simple reason no one really wore them to bed. But sponge rollers allow this. Round up- I save so much time on a morning. I simply leave removing the rollers to the last minute. usually I don't need to do anything but spritz with hair spray. But if they get a little tangled as the day progresses Then I brush gently with a G-COMB. When they arrive they all flat and horrible but once the air gets in after a few hours they puff right up positives : can sleep comfortably Affordable. Easy to use No heat Negatives: They are easily broken but all rollers of this type are really. Be gentle.

Slechte kwaliteit. Helemaal plat door het verzenden en kan ze niet als rollers bestellen. Erg zonde.
