Huey Fong Sambal Oelek Chili Paste 8 Oz

This chili paste worked well in my Asian recipes. Tastes very fresh, has some heat but no over the top, but enough to make your recipe pop. Highly Recommend.

we were recently on a cruise and the servers we had in the dining room gave us a sample of their homemade sambal. we both fell in love with the taste. even though i was given the key ingredients that they used to make it, i could not replicate it at home. we found this and decided to try it, very, very similar. we loved it. great taste and great compliment to just about anything.

This stuff is so good! I always add it into my Chinese food take out.. it's got a nice kick but also a good flavors so it's not just spicy and it's definitely not overwhelming..

Buy this paste first, say, if you’re cooking Thai (don’t forget the coconut milk!) and experiment with it. Teach yourself to please yourself with different cuisines.

Great value and fast delivery

I've purchased this product a couple three times now, this jar was a little watery compared to my past purchases. Taste was fine, just a runny consistency. Have they changed the recipe, or did I just get an 'off' bottle? Label still says 'paste' but what's inside is not a paste.

This stuff is awesome! It has lots of heat and the smell is so good. It is good in many dishes or as a sauce for chicken. The bottle is 8oz and very durable. Highly recommend if you like spicy!!

Personally to me is not spicy to me gives it more flavor to my dishes
